    Dear Aksys Games,

Congratulations on releasing a high quality multi-platform fighting game. It is exciting that your great fighting game has received great reviews. Especially when it come to online gameplay. However, it has become very difficult to obtain a copy of this game because of the limits of the game being console only.

That is why I am suggesting that you release the game for PC, similar to what Capcom has now done with Street Fighter 4, over Steam or a similar online distribution service. This would improve the online gameplay by increasing the pool of gamers.

At the same time, releasing BlazBlue via internet would also eliminate the price gouging that is occurring right now on Amazon.com and similar websites. Street Fighter 4 PC has been successful in generating revenue for Capcom. It continues to be one of the top 10 games sold on Steam and will probably continue to top the charts.

I understand that the major concern for releasing games online is piracy, but you should feel confident about the genre of the game. Fighting games are about competing with other people online. If you can control who is able to play online, then you can assure that a majority of players will purchase the game. Capcom has successfully curbed piracy by using Xbox Live and Steam to prevent pirated games from being able to be played online. Unless binded by contract, there is no reason BlazBlue cannot do the same.

Finally, I cannot help but think that BlazBlue's main fan base relies lies on PC communities like dustloop.com. These fans, like myself, have loyally followed the Guilty Gear series since its PSOne days and have been lusting after some sort of online game play. If BlazBlue is successful on PC, then you may be able to bring the Guilty Gear franchise online as well along with patches and updates(similar to Fallout 3 or SF4).

Overall, please consider supporting the PC community by releasing BlazBlue onto the PC in the upcoming year. You will only solidify your fan base and add more fans.

    Huh?
No, I always thought it would be a good idea somewhere in 2010. And it's not even a "port" since the game was originally demoed on regular laptops, since the TaitoX2 simply is a custom PC running a modified XP.

So yeah, sure, why not? The "internet treasurehunters" won't do any real damage anymore at that point :-)

Huh. Well, they did pull it off with SFIV on PC (all they had to do was implement the console features and extra filters on the original arcade title, plus tweaks).

    I don't see why this wouldn't work.
Even if I have it on PS3, I think BB on PC would be nice.

    It would be awesome.

I haven't seen anything on PC from Arc System since GGXX#R.
Well, there was something called GG Isuka, but I'm not counting it D:

I'll say my opinion on this.

I'm very much a PC gamer, and pay much attention to the Guilty Gear series. I first played it since the first game. I own both Guilty Gear Isuka and Guilty Gear XX#R for the PC, but I don't have a console to play the newer GG games (AC+ looks amazing!) and of course, Blazblue Calamity Trigger. Me and a group of friends would DEFINITELY get this game if it came out on PC, and even better yet with online functionality (whether through servers or by peer).

The PC has the keyboard, gamepad and arcade sticks for it so a lot of people would go for BB on the PC. I want this game! It'd be awesome if it were to come out on the PC.

Yes I did just make an account just to say that :D

I would, without a shadow of a doubt, buy this game for PC on its release if it were to come out. Guilty Gear XX #Reload is currently one of my most played games for the PC and I have been disappointed that BlazBlue has not been released for the PC so far (for Windows or otherwise). I do look forward to seeing BlazBlue on the PC when you choose to release it.

Dangerous at both ends and crafty in the middle.

Unfortunately, all I can say right now is that there are no plans for a PC version of BlazBlue at this time. :( Your interest has, however, been noted.

Data, data, data. I cannot make bricks without clay.

    DO WANT
    [/idiot]

I just created an account over the course of 30 minutes due to my currently terrible internet just to sign this.

While I've played a few 2D fighters, the only one that I ever found satisfactory was Melty Blood: Act Cadenza on the PC. I've played it to the bone, played it with my friends, taught them BnB's & built a tiny community here where we gather up once in a while to play, but we haven't played in a while since... well, we've had all the fun we can with a single game.

I understand that there actually isn't a very large market for 2D fighters on the PC, mostly due to the fact that consoles come with joypads which make playing such games easier, but that's ancient history! People can buy good joypads for $5 & bring a laptop to play at college, or hook it up to a projector & play on the wall... Eventually getting kicked out of campus grounds, but still worth it ^^

Same here with Melty Blood: Act Cadenza, the PC is the only thing I have which can play new games - I don't actually have a next gen console. As a huge fan of the Guity Gear series, I want to play BlazBlue, but it's not on the only system I own. And according to Mike Manasaras on the latest Gamehounds podcast, the original arcade build is damn near a PC version anyway. I'd get this as soon as it came out.

P.S. Any chance of Melty Blood: Actress Again in the NSTC/PAL regions as well?

    Hi,

I'm from Romania , and i never played BlazeBlue but from what i can say from the vids that i saw it's truly as good as Guilty Gear series probably better because of the graphics but that's not what makes a game good , espacially for me i really love 2D games i have almost all the games of Guilty Gear on my PC and ps2 , still waiting for BlazeBlue to appear in Europe , but hopefully i don't need to buy a PS3 to play it.

If you guys have smnth like BlazeBlue PC in mind here's some tips from a guy that loves to play online competitions and played in many ...
1.if you can't do it full on PC try to ignore the story-line not the gameplay
2.please make it ONLINE that's what matters the most
But i guess you guys already know this, and don't forget this petition.

    Hi,

I'm glad that there is a petition about porting BlazBlue to PC.

I played GG only on PC, and it was a revelation for me. It was the game that make me an absolute fan of 2D fighting games. I realy hope that BB will be playable on PC. The videos seems to be really nice !

Recently I buyed SFIV on PC, after a lot of hesitation (and now I'm a bit disapointed) ... but if BB get out on PC, I know that I'll buy it and I'll never regret it :D
