I've just registered to support this petition. We deserve games like this one. BlazBlue is not just a video game. It's a piece of art. A PC conversion would grant access for many people, not just console users. It's not just a matter of business, but an a way to make your work inmortal, beyond a mere perishable generation of consoles.
Hey there im from Germany and i want to support this petition as i just registred here.
The Fighting Game Scene is ready to accept the PC as an alternative platform to Consoles.
There is no reason for not releasing fighting games for the pc in my opinion.
On the PC you can use like EVERY device doesnt matter if you want to use PS3 or XBOX360 Fightsticks or even use a padhack to build your own Arcadestick.
I dont understand why so many people think fighting games are to be played on consoles only.
Actually arcades are the base of the fighting game feeling that we all have.
The whole genre is kind of a child's dream which can now become true for me.
When i was a child i so damn wished to have enough money to play the fighting games in the arcade but just couldn't.
Now is the time that the genre is coming back! Because of SF4 everyone remembers of this dream that i had in the arcade.
Now is the perfect time for the fighting games Because NOW it is possible to fight online so that you have so many opponents and not just your hand of friends hanging around !
Fighting Games are made to be played online in fact ! There is no better genre in my oponion to be played online.
And online gaming is ruled by PC gamers ! you cannot ignore it, thats a fact !
Im sure a PC port wouldnt be hell of work and the benefit would be amazing.
And please dont care about nasty Pirates, they cant play online so they will buy the game.
You guys made a great job so fwar with this game now take this last step !
Signed!
Seeing BlazBlue on PC would be awesome.
I'm another one of those who doesn't own a next-gen console (there aren't enough games on them that really inspire me to buy them yet).
I bought SF4 for PC and I would definitely buy BlazBlue.
Hey there im from Russia and i want to support this petition.
I agree with this petition. I've been playing the Xbox 360 version of the game for a little while, but the copy I played belongs to my friend and I don't have access to a PS3, nor an Xbox 360. I would love to see them make a port of it for PC with Windows Live enabled.
It took Capcom 3 months to port it to PC, it can't take that long to port BlazBlue to PC as well
I'm also signing this petition.
Like some of us here, I also don't have proper access to an Xbox360 for a PS3.
Though I was able to play BlazBlue for a bit on the Xbox360, it was really fun.
So yes, please make a port for the PC, with multiplayer capability like Windows Live. We will definitely buy it. I know I will.
I know Belisarius has said there are no plans for a PC release at the moment, but if Aksys would be kind enough consider these statements, they might see our point.
The arcade machine that BlazBlue runs on is a modified XP machine. This means that development costs for a PC 'port' would be virtually non-existent, mainly only concerning the netcode.
An easy and exceptionally profitable manner of distributing PC games is via Steam, which not only significantly helps to prevent piracy, but also means that a digital-only release would have virtually zero production costs.
Games For Windows Live, while not my favorite online play system, has a system in place similar to the system used for the Xbox360 port, that would prevent pirates from playing the game multiplayer online, thereby reducing any real desire to pirate the game in the first place.
When you combine these three facts, you get Virtually Zero Overhead, and free, very nearly effortless profit.
If there is anyone on staff who could pitch this to the people who make the decisions, this would be a good pitch to make.
Almost no cost, guaranteed free money. Now that's a business proposition.
They should release the game on PC! I bought SF4 and i'm kinda piss off because it's the only new fighting game available on the PC.
Please! Bring Blazblue on the PC!
Blazblue on PC would be a dream come true. Aksys be my santa!
Also GGAC(+) would be great on PC too. I'm still playing GG#R after all these years because well...lets just say the other 2d Fighters on PC are no where near as good.

For me to sign this petition would mean that you guys are one step closer to get what you want. But HA!You loser can go cry to your mama.Thgis is just a waste of- Wait what am I saying.BlazBlue on PC idea is brilliant! Why wouldn't I help!?
SIGNED!!
Actually yeah, like Kalean said, it would be great if it was on Steam. It makes it even more convenient to get the game. I mean, I'd prefer it a lot more there.
I only mentioned GWL because it might be easier to port, seeing as it has the same setup in the X360 version already.
In any case, it would still be awesome if it would be ported. I mean, you can already see that some people registering here just for the sake of supporting this.
It will be a good idea to release it on PC and they should release it on wii as well since both lack a lot of fighting games.
OK, you gamers that have computer that cost close to a thousand dollars or more, but can't afford the next gen consoles. don't make alot of sense, plus the minute the game become available for the PC someone going to buy it, rip it, then put it up on rapidshare and megadownload. just about every new game that came out for pc has been uploaded to the web for people to download for free. you guy are not fans, your just looking for an handout. Aksys it would be an bad idea to release to the pc so these so called ''Fans'' can rip you off and download it for free. i paid $44 dollars at gamestop for my copy but just thinking about people on pc trying to get it for free makes me mad. >;(
Actually, TmanLive, if one uses Steam only for Distribution, and Games For Windows Live for Online Play key authentication and require an online profile to create and maintain save files, much as Capcom did for Street Fighter IV, then pirates cannot play online /at all/, and cannot save their game. So for example, they cannot unlock more colors, cannot unlock unlimited modes, cannot unlock Astral Heats, and just in general cannot save any of their progress.
Since the game was distributed via Steam, noone can credibly claim that they do not have an internet connection for the game they purchased via steam, and therefore the online requirement to save is a non-issue amongst anyone who is not a pirate. Therefore, pirates get nothing more than a high functioning demo, and cannot play online. So even if it was pirated, it would be handicapped.
And of course, if Aksys was really worried about piracy, they could just make 2-4 characters not selectable from the outset, to really limit any non-saving functionality.
I for one want to buy the game. I want to be able to play online with friends. That's the appeal. My PC rig is worth maybe 400 dollars, all parts accounted for, most of which is my GTX 260. That's about as much as a next gen console, but it's been paid for over time with various part upgrades, and I'm not made of much money. If I could have the game on PC, I'd gladly pay full price for it. I won't pay full price plus a console for it.
Bring it Aksys. You don't need to secure fancy DRM, just utilize the tools at your disposal for almost nothing to discourage piracy the old fashioned way.
And again, TmanLive, if Piracy on the PC was a really big concern, I don't think SFIV would have sold over 40k units in the first month. With no hype surrounding its PC release. At all. 40k x $40 is 1.6 million dollars. That's pretty big sales. I own a copy.
BlazBlue on PC? That would be great.

You know what? I'd buy it. I have this friend in Canada, we play Street Fighter 4 online for the PC almost every day. It'd be great if I could get them into BlazBlue, too.
...Also, I don't have a console, but I have a strong desire to give Aksys money, so... do the math ^.^
You know what? I'd buy it. I have this friend in Canada, we play Street Fighter 4 online in the PC version several times a week. It'd be great to be able to get them into BlazBlue, too. It's great fun, from the few chances I've had to play it.
...Also, I have this thing where I'd love to give Aksys money, but I don't want to have to buy a console to do it.... ^.^ Do the math.

Well...First I never had the chance to play on a console, ever. The only gaming platform I have is a PC. I'm a big fan of Guilty Gear, I played it and played it and still playing it.
Secondly, BlazeBlue looks perfect, a new fresh game, but with the classic characteristics from his predecessor. So please, bring it to the PC !
Well...First I never had the chance to play on a console, ever. The only gaming platform I have is a PC.[2] I want this game SO BAD *sigh*
Registered so i can sign this petition here. I love blazblue and the effort arc sys put into that game.
I myself dont own a ps3 or a xbox 360, and as mentioned before times are tough on our wallets. However in this day and age everyone has a PC/laptop (be it for school, work, or other things), and it would be a shame if such a amazing game would miss the potential buyers and new fans out there and create a even larger Blazblue community
I luv this game soooo much, I've played 3 times this game.... (registered just to reply this petition)
Well, my friend have a copy of this game(PS3 version) and he tells me that the copy of this is sooo expensive. But he told me that the game will have it's PC Version soon... "Wow! Really??" I said. I hope that it will not take tooo long to wait for PC Version. I'm a Filipino, so I supprot this petition. Mind if I sign?? heheh

Registered to sign. Please make PC fans happy! :)
We can't give up!!
I also registered to sign this petition. This is seriously the absolute best 2D fighter I have ever played, but I don't have the console and can't afford to buy the console and then have to import the game on top of it, not to mention that far more people have PC's than have the Ps3 or Xbox 360 games consoles.
This is a game perfect for online matches as other's have mentioned, which would be much better with a Pc, rather than having to subscribe to PSN or Xbox live.
Two key issues with the Xbox 360 and the Ps3 -
-The pads are not suited to 2D fighters at all (E.G the D-pad of the standard 360 Pads only have 4 points of contact), but with a PC you can almost any type of Pad, even arcade sticks, so as to make the game that much more enjoyable and accessable.
- A PC games longivity is far beyond that of a console's, after all a Pc is never really obsolete as they are always upgradable, unlike games consoles.
In closing, Please, please make a release for Pc
Hello,
like most of the posters in this thread I also registered to sign this petition. I am a big fan of Blazblue and I would love for it to release a PC release that can be played online as well. I am originally a PC gamer to begin with but I play my fighting games usually in the arcades, but Blazblue is something I wouldn't mind playing at home too if I could. I really don't want to buy a 360 or a PS3, which I've been contemplating for sometime now. Arksys releasing this for PC would give me a reason to buy Madcatz TE fight stick :) and SF4 too...
