One thing to note is that the Suguri in this bundle is not the shmup Suguri, but the fighting/shmup spin-off. It's set after the first game, and it plays half like a fighter and half like a shmup. This version specifically is an enhanced version that includes a teaser for the shmup sequel, and I think an extra story mode. I never actually played the original Suguri X so my information on the differences are second hand info.
As for the Gundemonium Collection I totally recommend those games. Platine Dispositiff makes some weird, quirky games, and this is no different.
Hitogata Happa is a very unique shmup in the way it handles its bomb system. In Hitogata Happa you ARE the bomb. You collide with bosses to damage them immensely, and yes it costs a life to do so. So you manage both your characters, the character's unique abilities (since there's several characters), and when you'll chose to bomb yourself. The game is hard and takes a while to soak in, but man it's a blast once you invest the time.
