When I play Blazblue online on my Xbox 360, it runs great for a few matches, usually like 3 to 5 matches. After those matches, though, I can't join anymore games. All the results will come up as "cannot connect to this player," or "failed to obtain room information." Sometimes this starts when my opponent quits out of the lobby of a ranked match, then when I try to leave the lobby, the game will get stuck and take several minutes to close the room, and then I can't connect to anymore rooms. I don't have any firewalls up or anything like that, and this is the only game I've had problems with online.

I guess I can't edit my post, but to add some details, it doesn't say "cannot connect to this player," it says "Currently, you can not request a match with this player." Sometimes, when this starts, I'll try to exit the results list and go back to the menu for quick/custom match, but the game gets stuck here for several minutes, as well. If I stay in Blazblue's online menus for a while, after this starts, I eventually get completely disconnected from Xbox Live, though my internet connection doesn't go down. Shortly after, I can reconnect to Xbox Live no problem, but the Blazblue problem remains. After all this, I won't be able to connect to anymore matches for about a day, then I can play 4 or so again, and the problem resurfaces.

Do people actually work for Aksys support, or what? After a whole week, I would think one of their employees would have at least acknowledged the thread. @Singaki, did your issue with GG2 ever get resolved?

Sorry for missing your original post.
I've asked around about your problem, but it isn't one we've seen before. We will do our best to look into it, but it would be helpful if you could post your router settings. If you aren't comfortable posting that online, you can e-mail support (at) aksysgames (dot) com.
Data, data, data. I cannot make bricks without clay.
Alles andere ist käse.
And in case there is any confusion, yes, I do work for Aksys. If you have a questions, or care to verify my identity, you can e-mail me by putting my username in front of @aksysgames.com.Posted 2 years ago #
