1) Xbox is making a new dpad on their newer 360 controllers
2) You might be able to get a hori arcade stick for 360. If you look hard enough. They are not that rare at the moment.Posted 3 years ago # -

I heard about a new dpad, but it was limited edition and only in europe. Hardly easy to pick up.
I would buy a hori stick, but considering how few fighting games there are/will be on Xbox, it doesn't feel like a worthwhile investment at this time.Posted 3 years ago # -
I'll never understand people who use the D-Pad for fighting games. I've always found the thumbstick to be much, much more responsive, and it gives much smoother execution for 360 moves 623 moves.Posted 3 years ago #

I agree. I'm not a fan of using D-pads for fighting games, so I generally use sticks for them. For those that don't mind getting their hands dirty, there's a pretty effective 360 mod that has done wonders for me. The instructions there are for the wired 360 controller, but for its wireless sibling, you'd need a T8H screwdriver (security torx) instead of a #1 Philips head screwdriver.I judge you when you use poor grammar.Posted 3 years ago #

I am not appreciative of Marco's lisp.
I AM appreciative of his Dynakid rants.

OK, I've been going through story mode for the characters, and I occasionally see the words "GACHI BATTLE" flash at the beginning of some fights. What does that mean?Posted 3 years ago #

If I remember correctly (don't quote me on this since I haven't played the single-player mode in depth), those are the battles that determine which fork you take in the Story mode. Hopefully someone else (i.e. Akselziys) can confirm this for you.I judge you when you use poor grammar.Posted 3 years ago # -
that is correct, those are story path battlesPosted 3 years ago #
