You search through all of the used games at a video game store to find that one game with the real art box and instruction manual.
You know you're a gamer when...

You're willing to pay more for a used, launch model PS3 than a new PS3 slim with a hard drive 3x the size.

When you hide good used games in the GC section of Gamestop because you know they don't organize those titles and that no one will be looking in that section any way.

Not really, I could've waited for a slim but I decided to get a phat PS3 because they actually support Linux.
I wish I could've gotten a first model, though, with backwards compatibility and 4 USB ports. I got no USB space when I wanna play UT3, since I need a port for the mouse, a port for the keyboard, and a port for the mic. D:Anyways, on topic:
When you enjoy games that have horrendous voice acting because the core gameplay is still enjoyable.

Anyone that's not a gamer would assume that all PS3's are the same, and therefore newer is better. Hell, my parents don't even know the difference between a 360, PS2, and PS3. They're all just "video game systems" to them. Still, it takes a special type of gamer to pay more for a used PS3 than a new one. ;-)

Hmm... I guess I can agree on that. Although I really *needed* a spare computer to work on, so PhatStation3 is great for me. :D
BlazBlue on one occasion, accounting on the next. Can't always use this lappy since it's rather weak, weaker than my PS3. ._.

I'm a freak for tactical SRPGs, and I've played a lot worse.
Believe me.DORAGON INSTOOOOOOOOHHHHRU~Posted 2 years ago # -
Yeah, so am I. I've played almost everything released in the US, and I'm curious as to what you found worse then CW.

You get angry when your new game shipped in cellophane shrinkwrap instead of nicely folded wrap.

@ masuto
omg ditto that with illustration books. I flipped out when amazon.jp sent me my SFIV Arcadia guide in cheapo shrink rap!

You can manage to master a series in the worst control setup possible.
Samurai Showdown Anthology. All games. WiiMote only, no Classic Controller.
I was so sad that it didn't support the GCN controller that out of desperation (and nostalgia (I missed the No Contest moves in SSIV)) I got used to playing the whole 2D part of the series... with what might possibly be the worst way to play a fighting game on a modern or late gen console. Ever.Even TvC on WiiMote didn't feel bad, and that felt like Brawl, too. :/

@ Shwa
Omg... that's gross. You might as well kill yourself and take pictures! I love
Sam Sho and couldn't have done that! If I knew you lived close to my residence I
would've bought you a decent controller. That's pretty hardcore and borderline masochistic.Posted 2 years ago # -
...wait, I do? ._.
