   First of all, I bought Record of Agarest War some months back before it was announced that it was being brought over to the U.S. I was waiting until I had sufficient knowledge of Japanese to play the game, but it appears that it will be out in the U.S. before I do so.
   So, my questions are:
   1. Is there a setting to play it in Japanese, or will all the menus and speech boxes be in English only?
   2. Is Aksys going to release the soundtrack to Record of Agarest War, or are we out of luck with this one? (If you guys don't know where to start, I can help you, wink wink.)

   Re: Your questions:
   1. All of the text in the game is in English. There is no option to change it to Japanese. The voices are in Japanese, however.
   2. I can't really comment on that, unfortunately. :( As suggested by our post(s) here and on the main page, many things are under consideration. Personally, I'm pulling for a life-size cardboard standee of Winfield throwing up the horns.

   I've never heard of a console game having an option to switch the text to Japanese. Seems like a useless option to 99.9% of players. In any case, Aksys only has rights for the English version. Implementing full dual language support would infringe on the rights of the Japanese publisher.

   Silent Hill 2, and I think 3. There might be a couple other games that are not as well known, but yeah, it's not a common feature at all.

   Thanks!

   I might end up keeping my Japanese copy of the game, but I'll still buy the English version on day one! At least the voices are in Japanese, so I can try to work on my Japanese a little bit.

   You're just in luck. Our own BlazBlue has that option. =P
