I'm Vlad, 29 and I like lots of fighting games, action games and strategy titles. In Guilty Gear my favorites are Dizzy and Sol, with Jam and Justice close behind.
My intent on joining the forum is to pester the people of Aksys to localize Melty Blood Actress Again... among other things, of course. =P
Capcom has a deal with famous pr0n peddler Type Moon. Capcom does all the Melty Blood and Fate/ fighting games.
First post on the forums, and scratch one silly discussion.'Expect a lot more to follow.
David. The Wolf. I've been lurking for a while now, and finally joined up yesterday. Obviously I like fighting games since I just referenced Fatal Fury. My birthday was very recent, and from now on it takes a lot to get me to reveal my age. I should be more successful at this point. I'm not too old, though. I look fifteen or sixteen I'm told.
Aside from fighters, I love Metroid, most Nintendo series, BioShock (only good shooter), and cute games. I am the number one fan of the Family/Okiraku series, and desperately want to play Family Card Games online. Will be starting a Family topic here a bit later. Daddy and Sarah rock. And I <3 Sarah extra muchly.
I'm a mid-level aikido practicioner and help teach it to the dojo kids. I just started kung fu tonight. Looking into choi kwang do and taido karate.
Interested in being an elementary school teacher and martial arts teacher specializing in teaching the most vulnerable group, young girls. Don't make mean comments about that. Protecting them is what drives me.
I make long posts, and will now go make my own topic to tell my fun little stories.
Oh, and I have basically all the latest systems except those of Micro$oft.
...how long has this topic been around!?!
by day, I'm a mild-mannered 22yo fighting game fanatic living outta Irvine, Cali!...by night, I'm known as DJ D roaming night clubs with my sick beats and my wheels of steel.
also, I love hot pockets!!
Why do people like hot pockets so much? They are so... greasy...

Sorry. :P I'm a bit of a health nut. Something so fatty and cheesy just seems... well... like it would feel icky to eat.

Wrong. Capcom only had a hand in Fate/Unlimited Codes. Melty Blood is made by Ecole now.
A bit of research wouldn't have hurt.

I am 100% certain Capcom has published at least one Melty Blood game. Might've even been the one I played at AWA on the PS2 where I picked the cutest loli I could find* and beat an expert my first time playing. *rocks at fighting games*
OOH! New game idea for Arc System Works: Family Brawl! A Family fighter. ^_^
*In her game of origin, that adorable little red-haired cutie-pie better not engage in anything... inappropriate...
well,i'm new too.and my name is ed.i'm 35 years old and i'm interested in rpgs.right now i'm playing mimana iyar chronicle.i was excited about record of agarest war. but due to its large size i wont be buying this product.i only which scea or aksys would be more flexible with its fans and let this product be on blu-ray.btw, i asked jeff rubenstein from the playstation blog about it and he said that the blu-ray release was up to the publisher...so, whats the deal guys?
meant wish not which LOL
Hi.
I'm from Ireland, currently over here in Ontario.
Usually, I'm not that big into fighting games. The last one I got, Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable, was picked up mostly because of its connection to the aforementioned Type-Moon's wider Fate franchise. (I have both of the Tiger Colosseum games, too, but those had to be imported.)
Plus, I don't have a current-gen console, which leaves the PSP as my gaming system of choice. but then, even if I had a PS3, I probably wouldn't use it as much as my PSP anyway.
So, for me, such a game would not only need to have something more to it story-wise, it would also have to be available on said handheld.
Thankfully, Calamity Trigger Portable ticks both boxes quite well. I got the game last week, gobbled up as much of the story and arcade modes as I could, and here I am!
Fingers crossed for a Continuum Shift Portable release some day...

The FAQ explains how to get a avatar. Basically, set one up with a service called "Gravatar".
If you're talking about inserting images into your posts, you can find the explanation of how to do that here.
hah, thanks man.. your quite helpful
