That's right it's time for Valve to take you for all your worth since the Steam Winter sale has sarted! sadly I'm "Unemployed" (long story short, officially I still have a job but they haven't given me any hours in 2 months despite my constant talking to them about it, and yet for some reason I'm not fired)so cash is low right now since I have money set aside for the 13-2 Collector's Edition. I purchased Costume Quest though! I love Tim Schafer and the demo was a lot of fun

Eternal Sonata is the same way. The battle system starts out slow, but as your Party Level goes up, the battles get far more interesting. The story IS somewhat cliched, but I love the ending. The entire game is truly worth sticking around for the ending.

All the ppl I know say that FFXIII was garbage
The funny thing is that they don't even own or played the gameIn my opinion, FFXIII was a good game and the soundtrack was uber delicious

MemberThe RPG elements in XIII were all there and awesome! Story sucked balls! I got completely absorbed into that game. I played it in between terms, so I had a week of free time, and I woke up, started the game, got coffee and a cigarette, played the game till I fell asleep, and repeated that until I 100% it. Such a fun game, but the story sucked :p

JERK-samaI wanted to like FF13, I really did, but I got to a point where the frustration drove me crazy (I actually snapped a controller in two). The difficulty spikes were stupid and the fact that you're basically forced to have Hope in your party really really really ticked me off. And once I got to a point where I was getting insta-killed in every single battle, I just gave up and passed my copy on to someone else.
Oh, did I mention that I missed a number of cut scenes because of Hope's whining? After the 100th "Operation Nora" monolog, I had to press the skip button before I threw my controller through my TV.
I might grab 13-2, but 13 really soured me on the FF franchise.
Oh, and I'm still playing Alice: Madness Returns. Mediocre game, incredible experience.

Still playing Skyrim. I will probably be playing it until the end of time. Also wrapping up the first Ace Attorney game, which is great.
Data, data, data. I cannot make bricks without clay.

MemberHope is one of the best party members in the game, he has the least health but he has the highest magic rating in the game so spell casting/healing is his best. The only really difficult time I had with XIII was Vanille's Eidolon Battle, that one nearly made me snap my controller. The others are hard but fair, this one just felt completely unfair.
As long as you keep with the Crystarium and have good Paradigms set up, the battles of XIII really shouldn't take to long unless it's one of the giant turtles or a Boss
