Just finished Red Dead Redemption, and wow! This is one of those games I'm surprised it became so popular but this time I'm also very glad it was! Loved how it played out in the end story-wise, but it was also very fun to pick up and play, hogtying bandits, hunting skunks and just riding in the beautiful desert.

Game was my favorite since Xenogears, and the original Lunar 2: EB before that. I'm sure I've long passed the original Tactics Ogre in my personal record for hours spent on a game as the R* website said I had logged over 400 on RDR before Undead Nightmare (haven't checked the Social Club tally in several months). Even more fun to play along with a Morricone record spinning in the background...
Lately I've been hooked on PSN games since the birth of my daughter last month... Games keep meaning less and less to me as I have little free time these days. Hopefully L.A. Noire will be a classic as well; although I doubt I'll find another game as engrossing as RDR any time soon...

Yes.

Even more fun to play along with a Morricone record spinning in the background...

Oh, I did the same thing once, just exploring the land. Amazing! I want to go back to Undead Nightmare now that I know about Dead Eye (yes, I went through most of that game without knowing about it...).

Dangerous at both ends and crafty in the middle.

Currently playing the heck out of Dragon Age: Origins. I want to finish it before I start DA2, but I didn't plan ahead very well. ;_;

Yakuza 4. Really interesting game. Kind of hard to put down once you get into it.

Still playing Final Fantasy 4: The complete edition. Don't know why, but seems easier than the original.

Wait, 6 days ago you said you were playing Tactics Ogre PSP... As someone who logged over 200 hours on the PSOne version I'm wondering how that's going, especially since I read we now have to go through Hell's Gate more than twice in this version to get all it's loot. I seriously thought I was gonna freak out three-quarters of the way through my second set of 100 consecutive levels and the Boreas weapon had yet to show up so I could get my Dragon Orb at the end... But it all worked out and I slowly regained some measure of sanity over the next few days. So I've got the new one but am too damn afraid to go near it. Are the battles any faster in the PSP version?

I tend to switch games every 3-4 days. I have a good assortment of games in my library, so it's hard to stay with just one for too long. Different day, different assortment of games played for each system I own for a random amount of minutes/hours each.

I'm in the last chapter of the game already and most characters are around 16-18, which I could say took me about a weeks worth of effort. I've never played the original on the PSone (though I've personally always wanted to try it) but I can say the battles are fast for me, with no real slow down to speak of. Animations, movements, attacks are fast and lag free during battle, but the only lag I get is going into the shops...
