I understand that RoAW isn't going to come on disk for the PS3.
But is there the same limitations topping a simple "Limited Edition" purchasable item?
My idea is that it would include the same bonus items the 360 version is getting, as well as a game case. Inside the game case is simply a download code for the PSN to claim your game for free, as you already made the purchase for the game at the point of sale.
Reasons for this is, first and formost, the lovely bonus items can be acquired without having to buy a second (possibly useless) copy of the game.
Secondly, many people, including myself have expressed an interest in owning a physical, tangible copy of the game. While we may not get the game itself, the visual ade of the case may help with bragging rights about your PSN collection. It's hard to take pictures of my PS3 setup, and half my games are digitally distributed.
Third, it may drive sales for those without internet access. Believe me, these people do exists. And maybe to a more broader extent, people without internet access on the PS3 unit. They may still have to download the game, however they can be made better aware of the game. Once purchased, I'm sure most wont mind so much disconnecting their PC in order to connect their PS3. Either though store advertisement or just someone walking past a wall of games... box art sells, especially with the way they've been marketing this particular game.
Fourth... the lovely bonus items. :3
I'm sure many PS3 owners wouldn't disagree with me.
