Aksys should seriously publish this game in NA.
I mean, They can do that, can't they?

All "tales of" games is already owned by namco bandai, as well as the US namco bandai who has localized all tales of games, they have all the rights for it... so i dont think is possible for aksys to pick up a "tales of" project.
But im sure vesperia will come, since it was pretty famous, ppl say is already localized, but still no release date (because there are too many good games, specially rpg, coming this Q1 of the year) so well, we will have to wait and see

Namco Bandai has a tendency to defy logic. Forget about it. Xseed games and Atlus both have tried to localize a Tales game, Namoc rejected them.
It's unlikely Tales of Vesperia PS3 will ever see the light of day in English.Posted 7 months ago # -

Vesperia was a hit in japan, and it was also a hit here with xbox, it will be released for sure, im 95% sure, for example, eternal sonata was first released for xbox and then for ps3, (the same thing that is happening to vesperia) and i dont think it sold as much as vesperia did in xbox.
I just think they are holding back for this first quarter of the year, with all this rpg comings (ff13, star ocean 4, white knight chornicles, last rebellion, etc), since at the end, selling the game is what counts

not correct me if im wrong as i cannot cite this, but i believe microsoft exculsivity deals are generally 1.5-yrs. I think that the ceo of netflix mentioned this about netflix streaming or something. Anyways this rule seems to apply to eternal sonata and tales of vesperia is nearing the end in NA.

This is why Star Ocean 4 was released a year later, Tales of Vesperia a year later etc.
Vesperia was a relatively big hit in Japan.. as far as Xbox 360 sales go. The 360 and its games do terrible over there so it's no surprise that they made a PS3 port of it. As for making an international release I'm not really sure what to believe anymore. It did relatively well in NA/Europe but it certainly wasn't a chart topper like other games that are instant chart toppers despite being garbage. Because of this I've read that Namco Bandai have said themselves that they have no intention of bringing the PS3 version of the game outside of Japan. They probably feel it's not worth putting in the money to something that will only have mediocre sales like what happened with the re-release of Eternal Sonata.
On the other hand I've read that some of the voice actors have been called back in to do 'additional work' so honestly I'm not sure how it'll turn out. I've already fully completed the 360 version of the game though so I'm fine with whatever happens.

Supposedly there's overlap in the VA's for Tales of Graces. That's why they were called back.

I gave up on hoping for the US version of Vesperia. Instead, Aksys should just try to bring in No More Heroes Paradise.

Seconded for NMH: Paradise.
