I know that Cave has released a few of there Arcade shmups on the Xbox 360. But sadly there is a large audience of PS3 owners missing out on the action. I can understand why Cave would gravitate toward the 360, since most Arcade games nowadays run on PC hardware the porting job would be pretty easy.
My main question is if a publisher such as Aksys could even port a game like DeathSmiles to the PS3, or if that is completely up to the developer. My gut tells me that the decision would be entirely up to Cave as to which platforms the game is released for, but I guess I'm making a last ditch effort to retain hope for Cave PS3 releases.
I'm going to have to start a petition, and contact Cave so they know that the PS3 crowd wants their games too. I mean, almost all of Cave's shooters were released on the PS2. Why no love for the PS3? My only thought would be that they don't want to fuss about with the architecture of the system. Oh well.
Maybe it is possible for a publisher to port a game... maybe? ... Please...
