Laugh now, but I would love to see a Blu-Ray put out with all of the old Working Design games for the PSone and PS2. I'll probably never get to see it happen, but it is nice to dream.

Aksys has done a few visual novels before so you never know. If you don't tell publishers that there's a market, then they won't know! So giving up before you even try won't change things. Hence, my little push here.

MemberI don't think aksys would want to take the risk of releasing a game with almost no interactivity (like Umineko) on a home console (unless released digitally), compared the the other visual novels aksys released that still has a lot of interaction in comparison. (ok I haven't actually played those games from aksys, but I'm guessing)
There are already companies that officially translate them like jastusa and mangagamer for example, but most of their games they translate are hentai/dating sims and they usually get released digitally, unfortunately they don't do console games, and jastusa is hogging up the license for nitro+ games like chaos;head and steins;gate.
There is still hope if Aksys decides to release them only digitally (through psn only, like they did with Argarest), if they do that I will love them forever and ever and forgive them of not making deathsmiles region free :)

Maybe this would be a good idea for a future title? If an artbook was released and/or a special edition (WITH an artbook...) wow, I'll be preordering it day 1!

I feel like Aksys has done enough 360 exclusives already. Console parity should be important for a developer with a niche fanbase like Aksys.

MemberI'm all for diversity with consoles, but it can't be helped that pretty games like it are exclusives :/ I own all 3 consoles and both handhelds, so I can go with any thing. I personally prefer playing on PS3 but I use my 360 for the exclusives.
Still, it looks real pretty, there's no denying that! I'm sure there are others who feel just as interested as me though.
