DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu, Ketsui 360, Pink Sweet/MuchiMuchi Pork bundle please. And no death smiles 2, even Cave thought it was a horrible port.
What other games do you think Aksys should pick up?

Seen it on kotoku, but Aksys should pick up Black Rock Shooter. Game looked pretty sweet and it had a similar artstyle to P3.I think NISA will get that one. Suggestion threads for Imageepoch's games have all been closed over at the Atlus forums because of the contract between NISA and Imageepoch.

People have been waiting and waiting for the patch to get here after it's no longer in print.
Ketsui is sure a cool game to be localized, and I think the great militaristic theme and a male cast would likely to attract US gamers.

Black?Rock Shooter!Actually, Imageepoch is partnered with NISA already so the chances for them being the ones to localize BRS is most likely NISA. =/
In other related posts, Shining Hearts psp =P. Looks like an interesting rpg and like the art style.

+1 on the shmups, in order of preference
1. DoDonpachi DaiFukkatsu (+ Black Label DLC included, like DeathSmiles?). Cave's biggest and best right now, really pretty and colorful game too with a sick soundtrack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPUEmCGR8fw
5. Ketsui Kizuna Jigoku Tachi EXTRA. This one is older, but is kind of a 'legendary' game in the West, and a domestic release would basically be the end of an era. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhSLrU6jtjk
50. The upcoming MuchiMuchi Pork / Pink Sweets compilation. One good game for the price of one isn't bad right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sICwcd6YhfI
9999. DeathSmiles IIX.........lol just localize DaiFukkatsu. It's the end-all be-all of shmups right now, and is Cave's flagship franchise.

A Daifukkatu Ketsui hybrid! Along with black label. You need the regular daifukkatsu to play it.
This would be a great addition for a Daifukkatu localization.
I'm dying for that Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets combo. Please make it happen Aksys.
Yes I know Mushihimesama Futari and Espgaluda 2 are region free but I want them localized anyway. Cave wants that as well acording to their twitter.
I still would like Deathsmiles 2x. I know the reviews weren't great but....
I hope Aksys will continue localizing Cave games.
Aksys, please bring Students of The Round for the XBox360 and Elminage 3 for the PSP here. First person dungeon crawling deserves a chance.Posted 2 years ago # -

Dude, Mushi is mad cheap now that it's a Platinum Hits release. Just import it if you want to play it.

It seems the disc release Black Label version of DaiFukkatsu coming out in Feb. will be standalone, that'd be the one to pick up.

Plus, they can make the game the same price as Deathsmiles and make it cheaper at the same time
$30 for the 1.5 disk based DDP
$10 Black Label DLC
$10 Ketsui mode DLC= $50 and no need to include faceplates and such to make the value seem higher
Please make it happen, Arksys!

Let's all be realistic here. Shooters ain't gonna sell. Aksys just needs an action game or something that's non-2D for a change. Since Arc System Works doesnt seem to be having any new games lately, Aksys should work with I dunno...like maybe pick up some of Game Republic, FeelPlus, CyberConnect2, or Media.Vision games. They gotta at least pick up one mainstream game before they'll be stuck like xseed and NISA and never up their rep. Heck, they could at least publish some kid games to stabilize their profit (in case you didnt know, Ben 10, Naruto, Bakugan, and those Imagine series sold a heck of a lot! You guys sure won't buy it but those casual crowds who frequent Target, Walmart, and Toys-R-Us are definitely their goldmine). So at least pick up some license and rack up some profit before spending their marketing on the next BlazBlue. It's simple business strategy.

So at least pick up some license and rack up some profit before spending their marketing on the next BlazBlue. It's simple business strategy.I'm not totally convinced that they can't sell. Sure, there's more bombs than hits in the genre at least in NA, but Ikaruga did 100k+ on XBLA just based on the leaderboards. I think Radiant Silvergun will be just as big.
Arksys just needs to localize a shooter with a lot of hype surrounding it - something that can leak into the mainstream like Treasures games because it's not like shooters can't be enjoyed by normal people. Plenty of normal people downloaded Aegis Wing because it was free, but it was only the normal people that had fun with the game - regular shmup players all acknowledged that it was total -your mother is a classy lady- for a shmup.
Another problem is retail vs XBLA but I think it can do well enough at retail if the package is marked less than a tradition retail 360 title - basically what I was saying in my previous post. That, and also a demo might help to get the word out.
Combine all of that with the fact that the little bit of voice acting shouldn't be touched and there's very little text to translate and they (hopefully) don't have to sell too much to make a profit and localizing more shmups makes sense. At the very least they shouldn't stop at Deathsmiles because DDP:R is so completely different than Deathsmiles that it deserves a chance.
And yeah, Arksys can make more money if they publish licensed -your mother is a classy lady- like Ben10, but why would they want to dilute their brand power? People who buy Arksys games associate Arksys with quality - change that and people are gonna think twice before they buy an Arksys game.
