Hi there,
I'm a UK Resident and just wondered if Aksys had plans to release DeathSmiles as region free so European gamers can play it as well?
If so, I'd import in a heartbeat.
Look at it this way - you'll get more sales! ;)

I also hope that Aksys releases Deathsmiles with no region lock so us PAL gamers can play it too!

Swedish resident here I would love import Death Smiles instantly if it was region free for us in PAL regions.

As I mentioned in the Agarest thread I'd love Deathsmiles to be region free since it's one of Cave's STG's that isn't region free like their newer releases such as Mushihimesama Futari and soon to be released EspGaluda II. It'd be nice to finally play Deathsmiles without having to purchase a Japanese 360 so I'd gladly import it when it's released if it's region free.

Yeah, if it's possible go region free. There's a good shmup community in Europe and a PAL compatible release would definitely add sales.

Please Aksys. I live in france, where there is a huge community of Shmups fans, which would all love Deathsmiles to be region free and playable on a PAL console !

I thought I would join up and express my interest in a region free DS. I'm from Europe as well, and I've recently gotten into shmups again. Actually, the region free Mushi was what started it.

So.... could you perhaps give us a hint whether or not DS will be region locked or not? Just knowing would be really nice.

UK fan here.
Would buy/pre-order DeathSmiles in a heartbeat if it were to be region-free since the plausibility for a EU release is next to none.

Signed up to show support for a region free Deathsmiles (and Agarest War or any other game for that matter), and I'm from the US. Region protection needs to die.
