Lol, I did too. For future reference though, that usually does not include tax. Though nice to get basically $7 off Record of Agarest, hope more people took advantage of the target sale.

I think whether or not you get taxed depends on where you live. It should tell you in your total when you go to buy things, though. For what its worth, some of the guys here said that they weren't taxed on games they bought on PSN, so if you live in California you should be good. ;)

I don't have a PS3, but if the "sale price" listed for the game is anything at all similar to the games you buy on WiiWare, Xbox Live, or PSP then there isn't any tax you have to pay. Then again, maybe like Beli said, it depends on where you live, but I've never seen any sales tax used on any of those systems I listed. Cho Aniki was $19.99 flat for me, at least.
Which is pretty damn cool considering Cali is 8.25%, which can boost up to 9-10% for local or any other tax. And we're broke as a state?! lol?!
Oh the price isnt bad at all, was expecting 40$-50$ great!

Got my info from a gaming news site called Joystiq... and as you can tell by now what I read and shared here aren't assumptions. Arksys should of been upfront and told folks here on this site the price asap... instead of letting other new sites report that info.

Really? ive downloaded 2 gigs demos and it never told me i need 8 additional gigas to install it

That's more or less the structure of PSN's digital downloads. Think of it like unpacking a zip file. It needs to reconstruct the contents in a temporary location first, before moving it to its final location. The same is true for anything else you've downloaded off of PSN. It's just that the sheer size of Agarest makes it more apparent.

Yeah i know that..., but still, dont you think 8 gigs is a "little" too much for that? ive downloaded 10 gigs compressed game for computer and it wouldnt take that much space to un-zip, even more..., that 8 gigs is just an assumption, is not official "yet", we will see that today, i hope im the one that is right here..., i still think 8 gigs is way too much.

Hi everyone,
As a resident of a European country, I was lucky enough to be able to buy the disc-based "Agarest: Generations of War" (called "Record of Agarest War" in America) a couple of months ago, and I can say I really love it! Despite the lack of Trophies (which, in my opinion, aren't even that important), I have found myself playing this game quite a lot.
However, I also found out that in Japan, there is a prequel to this game called "Agarest Senki Zero". I was wondering if it was already clear if this game is going to be localized for EU/US maktets, too. I'd really enjoy that, of course. If any of you knows anything, please let me know.
P.S.
If any of you would prefer a disc-based version of the game, I suggest you search on the internet for it. It does exist. Two versions, even. A normal and a Collector's Edition. However, the CE isn't that much more than an artbook and a few cards :)

Yes, but it isn't the Aksys version of the game. I have no desire to read through the "google translator" version of the game just to get my strat RPG groove on. I'm quite happy with my 360 Aksys version thank you.

Sorry if I offended you, but I was aiming at the PS3-audience with the last part of my previous message. And can I ask what you mean by the "Google Translator"-verion of the game?

No offense taken. My reference is that I've seen some of the Ghostlight translation before and it is pretty Engrishy. A lot of sentences with incorrect grammar and such. From what I've seen of the Aksys version it is much better in my opinion.

Well, I wouldn't know about that. I'm very happy that Ghostlist is translating such games at all! Therefore I am very much looking forward to "Agarest Senki Zero". I hope it will someday be released :)

Its up on the psn network now started downloading it immediately. I didn't have to pay for taxes and there's 5 dlc items out.
For everyone who hasn't bought it yet here is what it says on the network concerning hard drive space.
This title requires 9gb of free space on your hard drive. Installation will also require an additional 9gb of hard drive space, which will be freed after completion.
