Most of the commenters are complaining about Size, Price and lack of a physical copy, you know, the Agarest PS3 complaint trifecta.

It's like the second it hit the PSN everyone forgot that it was a retail $60 game being sold with extras (trophies/free dlc) for $45. Charging under $30 is ridiculous IMO.
I can understand the people who were disappointed in the lack of a physical copy, but I know Aksys' hands were tied on that one. Some people mentioned including a d/l voucher so that PS3 owners could get the goodies as well, but I have a hard time believe those people would be willing to pay $60 for it like the 360 version.

But we have to wait for the Store to update!
I'm fine with the price and not having the pervy pad (tho I do want the soundtrack), but Sony updates the store so late!..Posted 1 year ago # -

Wow, in depth video of gameplay. Why didn't they release a video like that before?

I wonder whose idea it was to put a post up there. If it was Aksys, then I have to say well done as the replies were obvious and it got a message across. If it was Sony... then they are more dense than I thought.

All the whining and crying about the reduced price was rediculous! When Atlus released Persona for the PSP on the PSN, there was hardly any complaining about the price being the same as a physical copy that came with the soundtrack. In my opinion, Aksys has been great about releasing games on the PSN at a discounted price. MIC was released on the PSN with a $5 discount, and RoAW was $15 off and with free DLC scheduled in the future.

And I'm pretty sure your information is wrong, the PSN version was cheaper.
In this case, those who have the PS3 have no choice but to download 10 GB. Not everyone has both consoles.

If you're referring to him being wrong about the price of Persona for PSP. He's absolutely correct. I paid for the PSN version and it was the chain price, just as Assassins Creed and Tekken 6 were. Rockstar games are the only ones that tend to get discounted and it was fairly common knowledge that they have been making people pay the same price as the physical copy. For Aksys to give us this at a reduced price was a great example of how things should be.

Ah no! I am a big Persona fan, and I remember this one because it was the same price as the physical copy which came with the soundtrack.

I think Aksys realizes that a discount is needed for a digital copy because consumers do not want to pay for the additional procedures (i.e. the material cost for packaging, shipping & handling) that are put into the physical copy. Aksys has set an example that I wish other companies would follow.

what discounted price? 360 costs $60 for the limited edition... PS3 is $45 for a barebones version... no physical goodies and no resale value. as for the "free" dlc... that content is ON the disc for the 360... it'll be like me saying lets cut off the last chapter of the game for the PS3 version and give you a "free" code to DL it... gee thanks.
keep in mind Arksys is also saving tons buy not pressing the game onto BD... I am guessing that is the only reason the last 2 PS3 games are DL only... how many games has Arksys done for the PS3? 3 total. So your looking at a 67% chance of a PS3 game being DL only... Good thing Sony now prohibits DLs of excess 2 gigs so we wont have this fiasco again.

There is more dlc than just the dungeons. Also as far as I know Sony has not stated such a thing as there are quite a few things that are over the 2gbs. They did however announce something last year that would charge devs on their space used on the PSN for the first month or so. Was covered on Kotaku. Xbox however does not allow a game with an excess of 2gbs as an XBLA title.

Once the LE/first printing is gone, it's pretty much a definite that the regular version will sell for the same price also. PS3 users get the same game for $15 less. And more free DLC.

Okay, so I guess I was wrong. But my point still stands. Atlus gave us an option. Aksys, though it was due to situations out of their control (I trust them on this one), didn't. And options are nice to have.
