   Now I have no idea as to how international law works and if NISA has the localization rights locked up for all games in the series already, but it seems to me that Ar Tonelico 3 would be the perfect type of game for Aksys to look into bringing stateside. The series already has a strong following in the west and features the same stylish anime art, solid storylines, great character development, and quirky Japanese appeal which is typical of all of Aksys' releases. Additionally the music is always far and above that found in your typical jrpg and even rivals (and surpasses in many instances) those found in multi-million dollar budget behemoths like Final Fantasy. It seems to me that Ar Tonelico would be a relatively low risk/high reward proposition in comparison to some of the titles Aksys has localized so far.

   After seeing the absolutely fantastic translation jobs Aksys has done with Guilty Gear, Blazblue and Agarest War (and after the debacle which was Ar Tonelico 2's localization), I would much prefer a company like Aksys to be handling the game versus NISA.

   NISA already has the rights. And they usually do a decent job localizing, even if they are too literal sometimes.

   This game is already scheduled to be brought out in the US. It got pushed back until next year recently.

   Do you have a source? I haven't been able to find anything regarding a pending US release.

   Lol NISA have this already in their nest, if you want source, my source is a friend that works at NISA, of course i cant say who he is, but im 100% sure he is working there.
   He told me that AT3 will have to wait a little, since they have their all in other projects, like Atelier Rorona, and Trinity Universe

   Check out http://rpgfan.com they always have updates and reviews on what is going on domestically and overseas.

   I stand corrected on the release date:

   NIS America announced during last years Tokyo Game Show that they would be localizing Gust's most recent game in the Atelier series, Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland. However, it's been a long seven months since TGS, and little has been revealed about the localization of the upcoming PS3 game. Unfortunately, fans will have to withhold their alchemical inclinations a bit longer, as the game's release has been delayed until Fall 2010.
   While the game was originally announced for release this summer, Nao Zook, NIS America's PR/Marketing Coordinator, said in the comments section of a post on the Official PlayStation Blog that the PS3 RPG "should be coming out some time this fall."

    I wish they would bring Ar tonelico 3 to the 360, I know alot of you are ps3 owners but we need more SRPGs on the xbox 360.

    Ar tonelico isn't a SRPG series.

    Also Ar tonelico 3 was developed on Sony's PhyreEngine, which makes it unlikely to be ported.

    Trinity Universe? Are you sure? Well, I believe you, since he obviously wouldn't lie considering the fact that it's a crime to falsely misrepresent a NISA employee. Well, I'd certainly like to see Atelier Rorona though. I just hope NISA doesn't localize any more of Hitmaker's games.

    Trinity Universe is listed on the GameStop release list for this summer. I don't really care about playing that one...

    If Agarest War is any indication, NISA is better. Even if the localization is messed up like AT2, at least PS3 users won't miss out on anything and can actually own it instead of a digital download of it.
