Heavy Rain was not text-based.
Heavy Rain was not as text base as these visual novels might have been. However, if the subtitles are on then the game becomes very text heavy.

That's... not exactly his point. Heavy Rain is something that the gaming community thinks of as being a "game". Unfortunately, many people in the gaming community do not think of Visual Novels as actually being games, because there's no actual player interaction beyond the occasional (if any) choices or minigames.
it would be interesting to see a visual novel on the ps3 make its way in english, there's a first time for everything you know. :P
I'm a heavy White Album fan, so if Aksys Games brings this game over, that'd save me the need to buy it from Japan.
Thing with games like WA, where dialogue is loaded (like all visual novels) is that the localization process takes a long time due to translation.
Despite this, if Aksys brings it over that means English text (with original Japanese voiceovers) and that would be awesome.
I also own a figurine of Ogata Rina, so this game would definitely be a part of my White Album collection.
PSN release would be AWESOME!!
Yes please....I personally been asking at Atlus and NISA too. This game seems super slim to see come here, but I want it....bad. The story looks great, and I hear it is amazing. The music is beautiful, the animation looks fantastic..... Aksys..... do it, for the love of God, do it. >_<

Doesn't sound like it came across that way. It looked kind of rude to me. I wasn't sure if it was a joke myself.
Don't be a pussy. :v It's just as funny either way.

Interesting... All I saw was a visual novel that had good artwork and I thought it might be good to see it localized.
Isn't that usually the point of a visual novel? XD

IT'S CALLED BLAZBLUE, DUDE.
Blazblue has combat and online fighting. Totally different. Visual novel stories tend to be alot more indepth most of the time too.
Visual novels are a lot of text (much much more so than JRPGs) and... that's it.
Unfortunately, nothing that sells to the US crowd. A handful of people on a forum aren't going to recoup sales... and it'd be a lot more work than a JRPG (the best selling kind of Japanese game) for little benefit.
