I was just looking at some of this weeks Famitsu leaks. It's going to be multiplatform for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan. Who knows which version, if any will come to America though.

Maybe the Ps3 is stronger in Japan, but in the USA, Canada, Mexico and the rest of Latin America the 360 is far more popular, by making BlazBlue a PS3 exclusive Aksys will be turning their backs on a large market share, not to mention a huge amount of fans that would love to play this game on their favorite console. Im not saying it should be a 360 exclusive, im saying it should come out for both consoles so PS3 & 360 owners can enjoy it.
Devs, if you are reading this please take this into account: Street Fighter 4 came for both consoles, King of Fighters XII will come out for consoles too, why not BlazBlue? ;)Posted 4 years ago # -
According to the new famitsu, Its coming out for both the 360 and ps3. :D

I hate to say but I traded in Battle Fantasia, I'm sorry 2D fighters on that 360 D-pad are absolutely atrocious and I don't use a stick. If it gets released for both great, but if its 360 only I won't buy it. On a side note, Sony's platform is home to the niche title market of fighters and rpg's alike. It doesn't matter how many ppl own a 360 or a ps3, the fact remains is that this is a niche title, for example in japan battle fantasia moved more units on the ps3. But it all depends on arc system and how they want to move their product in japan. Quote EdgKun "Aksys just turning their backs on customers and sales. There's little (if any) reason for them to do so.", its not up to aksys, its up to arc system works and how they want to move their product in japan.

Oh my bad. didn't notice B.K's comment.
Fortunately. I don't live in japan. so I honestly don't give a -your mother is a classy lady-.
and on a "Side note" For being home of this niche market, Valkyria Chronicles sure sold like -your mother is a classy lady- on the ps3 as opposed to Killzone 2 a FPS. which is a damn shame considering it was a damn good title.now, I'll just go enjoy my FPS like Star ocean 4, tales of vesperia and Guilty gear 2 : overture on my obsolete RROD-bound Xbox 360. considering thats all the 360 has. ;)

To respond to you Spruce, I was referring to the action of bringing Blazblue to consoles stateside. (not talking about Japan sales and whatnot here) Therefore I think the decision would still rest very much on Aksys, as they are directly in charge of the localization. I mean we are talking about this in Aksys' forums, so i figured that part was already established.
In any case, doesn't matter so much now that Aksys has announced it for both consoles stateside. =) Personally, I couldn't be happier. Everyone wins!
