The King of Fighters XIII anyone?

And I forgot to mention this:

The game is expected to be released in the 1st Quarter of 2011 for both, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

So, we should do our best to get Aksys to localize this game. As the KOF games deserve a first class localization, and SNK should at least let Arc System Works port the game to consoles. Like how Examu is letting Arcsys port Arcana Heart 3 to the PS3 and Xbox 360.

And I got the news of the release date from this very source:

ummmm yea i downloaded koF 2002 UM its decent but the button inputs are complicated to do

Same here, I have been wanting Aksys to take the crown of the "King of Fighters" for a while now.

So, the netcode in KOF 2002 UM XBLA sucks? Ouch, too bad they didn't use the netcode from Neo Geo Battle Coliseum for the XBLA service.

@MikelAL93 Yeah, I tried a few matches, just one of them was good. The rest did suffer from lag.

I do hope that Aksys picks this one up. I do agree that they should be "The King of Fighters" If they do get it, perhaps they can talk with SNK about getting help with the online from Arc System Works, which to me still has the best online I've seen, by far.

I'm heavily addicted to XIII right now at the local arcades, and it was nice to see a tourney pop up for it at SCR. Just hoping it gets the proper netcode it deserves...aksys!!!

Oh, that's good to know. Are they using the updated 1.1 version? I haven't been keeping up with XIII in the arcades, so I don't know if there was any balance changes or if it was just a bugfix.

Yep, there were using 1.1, the same version was used for the NorCal regionals.

Anyway, we should have Arc System Works port the game to consoles, since they spend their money on resources, voice actors, etc., hopefully they'll give us the voice acting, netcode, and features we want.

So, sign here if you want Arc to port the game to consoles, and Aksys to localize it.

As a fan of both SNK and Aksys, I approve of this. I'm kinda worried about KOF XIII's online, as none of SNK's games on xbla seem to have good netcode (NGBC is the only decent one I think), and the future of the KOF series pretty much lies with this game. I would insta'buy KOF XIII if it was published by Aksys.

Also, they can just have my wallet if they also release GGXXAC+ on PSN/XBLA with online...just sayin ._.'

I wouldn't mind if GGXXAC+ was released as well, but please Aksys, publish King of Fighters XIII. This would be excellent.

Here's hoping that the net code is good. Neo Geo station launches on Tuesday for PS3, so let's see how the netcode is for some of those games since The King of Fighters 94 is part of the launch.

ATLUS sent me an e mail about THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII and it is coming for both the x box 360 and PS3.
