My gamestop said that they don't know when they'll receive my pre-ordered DeathSmiles.

Sad living in Canada (Quebec)....Same here, pre-ordered at EB Games. Was supposed to get them Tuesday initially, then last week, it was postponed to Wednesday. I called today and no EB Games in my area has received any copies.
Then I called this little store I know in Granby (Loca Jeu). The owner told me the same thing. I was pissed off to say the least as I've been waiting for this game for a long time. 2 hours later, she called me back saying she received one (1!!!) single copy. I told her to put it aside as I was going there all the way from Montreal.
Tl;dr I finally got the f****** game :)

MemberI got my copy on Tuesday and it is my first purchase from Aksys. I will support this company from now on however. It was so great to be able to go to Gamestop and purchase a Cave shooter. Not having to pay import prices is really nice as well! The packaging is beautiful and the bonuses are great. I am so happy to have the game in English! I would gladly repurchase Espgaluda 2 to be able to play in English.
Great job Aksys! You have a new fan.

MemberI'm eagerly excited for my Deathsmiles Limited Edition. Mine's been pre-ordered for a month now but it hasn't arrived at my Canadian EB Games yet apparently. I'm getting anxious!
I purchased the Blazblue LE and I'm purchasing this not only because I'm a fan of Cave shooters but because I genuinely like what Aksys is doing and they deserve my full support. I'm going to be honest, I generally dislike anime, but you know your fans and bring the titles they crave overseas while giving them more bang for their buck with bonus material and packages other publishers charge $20 more for, and I respect that immensely.
You're like the reincarnation of Working Designs and I love it.

edit: does anyone have tag info for the bonus soundtrack included? its all blank when I go to rip it.

Got mine two days ago, very happy with it! Four playthroughs so far...lot more to come! Does anyone know the names of the songs at the end of the game? The ones with the vocals? Would love to have those too...

Just arrived. Very disappointed with the soundtrack. It feels very soft and flat compared to the original OST. The faceplate also feels stiff and I'm afraid t'll break a clip taking it off. Nice to see that Aksys has decided to use a higher weight of cardboard this time resulting in a significantly sturdier construction than with Agarest.
The game itself is really fun and the translation is not nearly as bad as it first appeared. I'm still not crazy about the accented spelling of some words, but it's a minor gripe at best. The ability to turn smoothing off and on is a nice touch.
In short great game, but i'm not feeling so great about the quality of the LE.

MemberJust got my copy a few hours ago. I'm impressed with the game so far. It's difficult to say the least, but maybe that's because I'm not good at this type of game. It's still a heck of a lot of fun.

@NeoAthanasius - It should work on iPod Touch too. And yeah, it's pretty good. I like DeathSmiles better, personally.
