Just wanted to start a thread for us dedicated folks that wanted the swag enough to deal with a JP ONRY language release while we wait with anticipation for the localized version. I have some Japanese experience (studying the language here in Japan) but still will probably save Story Mode for the localized text due to ease of understanding. It is never fun to play a game with a kanji dictionary at your side - believe me, I've done it...

Anyways, yes. This thread is for us crazy people that just can't wait. My PSN handle is Akakaze. Do feel free to challenge my scrubby Jin and Tsubaki when you see me online in BB:CS!

You should have bought the Hong Kong version.

You're aware that if he paid for the Hong Kong version he'd be effectively locking himself out the DLC characters unless he has a Hong Kong account, thats even if they even manage to get the DLC on their PSN. Same with the Japanese version. I am disappointed in the lack of a limited edition in the US but I'd be even more disappointed on the premiums on Japanese PSN cards.

Heh. That sucks.

I do have a JP account, but not a HK one and no real desire to make one and figure out how to obtain HK PSN cards.

Interesting how it appears ArcSys has deliberately left the other language tracks out of the JP version - basically deleting code that was already done if the HK version ships today.

Of course, that's good for Aksys (discourages all of us crazies from getting the overseas version that's releasing earlier) and Aksys has been very good to us with BB/Deathsmiles/etc., so aside from the no LE (which they apparently tried to do and I believe them), it would be hard for me to do an import of an English-ready version for that reason. There are very few game companies that appear in-it for the fans, in particular obscure hardcore Japanese game loving fans, and in a lot of ways I see Aksys as the spiritual successor to Working Designs in terms of how they treat their fans. This is a compliment.

Anyways, back on topic:

This way I got the swag, I'm in Japan anyways (returning to the states in two weeks), and I'll just figure out what I'm going to do with the extra game after the English version is released. I'll probably keep it as a collector's item that won't be worth anything later on but looks cool in a display case.

Sad little BlazBlue fan I am, I wanted the the Noel Nendoroid. I bought the JP LE from HMV at the same time I pre-ordered the US version, which was about 5 minutes after Cherie told me there wasn't going to be one. :)

Yes but alas I'm in Canada and trying to get stuff from the Aksys store is like pulling teeth. Believe me or I'd have had a 6B t-shirt ages ago. Glad to hear you're selling the Nendoroids though. That's a major plus for US fans.
