Yo whats up, im a big fan of fighting games of all kinds, the most recent of which being the games of the blazblue series, and actually I've become a really big fan of blazblue, although I must give props to the almighty guilty gear series that inspired it.

but before the latest game in the series, BBCS comes out, i wanna hear some of their opinions:

Who's your favorite BBCT character PC or NPC and why?
Do you enjoy the BB story?
How do you think it ranks as a overall fighting game?(I like it ;) )
What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS.
What new playable characters are you looking forward to using(in game and DLC).
What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series.

Who's your favorite BBCT character why? Gameplay-wise, I like Hakumen. Storywise, I like Noel. Reason is, everything pretty much center around her and I love her ditzy charm.

Do you enjoy the BB story? Yes I do. Best fighting game story ever.

How do you think it ranks as a overall fighting game? It is literally the King of fighters.

What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS. We already know what returns. What I think should be made in BBCS is better animated cutscenes.

What new playable characters are you looking forward to using. Makoto.

What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series. Keep its awesome network mode, don't rush too fast into the story (don't want it to go all GG confusing), include color edit.

Or anything else you wish to say. I'm gonna buy 4 copies.

Who's your favorite BBCT character PC or NPC and why? Taokaka. She's just adorable.
Do you enjoy the BB story? It's a bit hard to make sense of at times, but yes. Yes I do. It's easily the best story ever seen in a fighting game.
How do you think it ranks as a overall fighting game?(I like it ;) ) It is the best 2D fighting franchise I've ever played.
What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS. We already know this. Beyond that, I'd like to see the characters a little more balanced, but otherwise I'm cool.
What new playable characters are you looking forward to using(in game and DLC). Hazama and Makoto.
What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series.Color edit, like the above poster said, but I'd also like to see a challenge mode similar to the one seen in Guilty Gear X2 for the PS2. That was an amazing part of the game and why it hasn't been duplicated is beyond me.

Also playable Jubei.

Or anything else you wish to say.It's starting to look like I'm going to have to buy this on both systems.

Do you enjoy the BB story? Loved it enough to get 100% clear in all stories.

How do you think it ranks as a overall fighting game? One of the best new-style fighting games. A natural progression of Guilty Gear. Certainly a varied roster.

What new playable characters are you looking forward to using(in game and DLC). Makoto because I want to blow up the moon.

Jubei - Aside from being Ragnas mentor, he eyed down Tager as soon as he was about to take Litchi in.

Do you enjoy the BB story? The question should rather be; whom doesn't? It is an interesting one a best, with various questions you just have to find the answers for.

SF4 Fanboys be hatin on the compeition it has. That pretty much sums up how killer this game is

Yes, especially the "Teach Me Miss Litchi" shorts.

Among the Best, second maybe only to 3rd Strike.

What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS.
As unimportant as it seems, better quality cutscenes...and don't get me started on the horrible intro.

What new playable characters are you looking forward to using.
Platinum.

What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series.
Training mode for online play (why hasn't anyone thought of this yet??)

So I am NOT a big fighting fan person but I do enjoy playing BlazBlue, and I picked up the new one today. Kind of bummed about not having a special edition for it like the first one, but its cool. I do have a question though: Aksys, what is up with the 6 page instruction manual? You following Ubisofts "no manual" philosophy to save a tree?

LOL, that was the other thing that made me cringe, aside from having Tsubaki on my disc.

Who's your favorite BBCT character PC or NPC and why?
Rachey-woo, Ragna the Bloodedge, and Bang Shishigami. They're all really nice (Rachey-woo doesn't show it much, though), good people who aren't afraid to fight hardcore for justice. Rachey-woo is also adorable and has adorable pets. And she saved Ragna.

Do you enjoy the BB story?
One of the best stories in all of gaming. Not just "for a fighting game."

How do you think it ranks as a overall fighting game?
It's brilliant. Accessible enough to get into. (I can literally teach it to 13- or 14-year-old girls and have them ALMOST beat me within a couple hours when I'm using someone I'm not good with.) Complex enough to keep you interested. I'm having a LOT of trouble learning Guilty Gear. Not so with BlazBlue. I'm awesome at it for a non-obsessor.

What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS.
I hope Rachey-woo's passability tier-wise returns. She shouldn't be CT good, but CERTAINLY not Arcade CS bad. I also want Makoto to suck. I want her to be HORRIBLE, so that I know anyone using her just wants dat underboob. >:/

Unless I'm good with Hazama somehow, nobody. I'll stick to Ragna. I won't buy DLC that is first patched into my game then paid to unlock.

What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series.
Makoto wearing clothes.
Makoto not being a hooker.
Makoto not being playable. (I can dream, can't I?)
Plati-chan wearing clothes that fit.
Platty-pie getting a haircut.
Platty-woo playable without buying her.
Valkenhayn playable without buying him.
Less pr0n in the Gallery. Come on, strippable Rachel pics? (Guess that's not as bad as, say, Litchi or Tao, though.)
No paid DLC. (Arc would gain SO much respect over Crapcom if it would NOT use the same dishonest sales tactics.)

Im a fan of rachel because of her bitchiness and taokaka for her easy going ways

i hope you guys keep the controls easy going and easy for anyone to pick up and play, fix the cut scenes a bit, oh and please release a patch fixing rachel,*gets down on knees and begs* its like she went from awesome to -your mother is a classy lady-, oh and maybe a patch allowing you to use the dlc characters in arcade at least, i get that story mode might be a bit complex but arcade should be doable

makoto only because i saw a few videos and she looks like a lot of combo making fun

that you dont stop developing the story and never betray the fans as have many other games have. BB is a amazing 2d fighter and i hope it stays as such.

you have a point, to be frank concerning the dlc. it already seems a bit pricey. i hope it doesnt turn out into a huge blowout of little things for big prices.

It's gonna be hard to resist those huge, innocent green eyes on that Platty-puss, though. Originally I thought she was super lame due to her gigantic hair and oversized clothing (like the shoes), but each time I look at her face she grows on me. But I shall not buy her.

New thing I want to see next game.

Tao's dance from Teach Me Miss Litchi as a win animation. That would be TOO awesome and Sakura could eat her heart out.

I'm pretty sure all instruction you need is actually in the game itself. Why explain it twice? People lose those manuals anyways.

Actually yes, everything is actually in the game. I heard more complaints about lack of an EZ-Stick than actually playing. Those people were better off being ignored. There are plenty of training options, challenges and modes to play to get used to your character so a manual could have been shipped with a simple "Turn on your console, Insert Disc, Press Start at the Title Screen, Play." Seriously, thats all you'd even need to know to even get started and from there you pave your own path in the game.

N/A I play against people only.

The best! Lovely 2D art and fantastic online play.

What do you hope returns and what improvements do you think should be made in BBCS.

Tager. More characters like Tager, perhaps more older looking characters. I personally don't care much for the youthful looking anime characters.

Tager. :P To be fair my PS3 broke, a second time, about a month after BB:CT came out so I didn't get to play much of Tager before trading that system in for a Wii.

What do you hope for the future of the Blazblue series.

More characters like Tager, perhaps more older looking characters. I personally don't care much for the youthful looking anime characters. Fewer little robot girls. :D

No, a proud tradition is taking in that new game smell as soon as you rip off the plastic and open the case. Been doing that 17 years strong now.
