...I... I can't... I can't ride across the stage anymore...
This is the worst thing ever. Ice Car is worthless now. I can't play Jin anymore! I'm... so very sad...
Gawd, I love her so frickin' much. X3

...Whew. Okay, not AS bad as I thought.
Ice Car gets nerfed if you use it repeatedly, Smash Bros. style. While that still sucks and makes it so you can't fly around as much as you want to, it doesn't FULLY kill Jin.
So Jin isn't dead. Just badly wounded.
I still think I'll be using more of Raggy.
Thanks for the spoiler alert!

Also, "Rosebud" was the name of Ragna's sword, he was actually dead the entire time, and Hakumen is his father.
Jin is changed, definitely for the better. My bud picked Jin up and have since become totally adaptable to his new play style. I had to get used to Bang cause they changed his guard points and for the life of me I still cant get off Bang's Astral Finish reliably. Must practice half circles more on my arcade stick. Anyways, back on track, Jin can't be played the same so you're gonna have to learn a new trick. Jin also has elevations now so I cant just j.D his butt anymore for trying to glide across the screen.
I personally like the changes done to Jin. Most of them are for the better. Now all he needs is a 6A buff and 6B needs to be an overhead.

Watch those spoilers, mister ;P
Don't get me wrong. I don't spam Ice Car for all my damage, but I like to fly around on it and bother my opponent.
I'm finding Ragna pretty similar, but has the timing always been this hard? Dammit, Challenge Mode, I HATE YOU.

Was it it his sled?
Only when he was a child. He left everything to it when he died.
UPDATE!!
It's actually the aerial Ice Car. It's worthless now. Ground one is still fine. B version is even buffed. But Jin is still dead as a doornail.

Pick someone else then, or learn to play differently. It's the same character. The same strategies should still work, basically.

You have no idea how bad my game is hurt by a useless aerial Ice Car. Ragna is my CS main.
Thank goodness that was fixed cause the ice spam was annoying. But I am sad noel isn't as good with mix ups. some of my old ones no longer work, so I can feel your pain.
Some characters got so many additions, while others so much was taken away. Ppl say this game is more balanced then CT, but even so... The tiers can't be right. Tager is no way in the tier they say he is.

Ice car spam was never annoying, and if it was, those who used it were justified in using it. I, as a Jin main, never spammed ice car simply because of how easily punishable it is.
The reason Tager is so low tier is because he doesn't get many chances. He's not very good at dealing with other characters' pressure and zoning. Once he gets a chance to move, he'll rape you, but the thing is, a reasonably skilled player can stop a Tager player from getting a single point of damage. He can do serious damage if he gets the opportunity, it's just that it's rare for him to get an opportunity.
Then go switch to Mu and get cracking at that 6k inescapable combo.

That's not true. with Tager you are only allowed, what... one mistake before he kills you? Not to mention his super that kills half your bar. Oh, and let's not forget the Throw and gadget finger loop.
As far as Jin goes, there's not much skill in spamming ice. If you don't spam I respect that, but I think that if everyone is talking about balancing that it is BS to say this game is better balanced if there are still loops that can go on and on...
Luckily the proration of damage eventually hits zero, but it doesn't help any. I like how everyone says if you are a skilled player... Look at poor Rachel, there are few and far between who can own others using Rachel.
you can say what you want, but obviously there are issues if Mori is working on a rebalance.
I own people with Rachey-woo. :3
Not AWESOME players, but decent ones.

Good then, but from the top replays on the online CS ranking. The top ones don't have good replays up or something, because #3 shows his replays as losing alot.
Yeah, for multiple reasons I wouldn't try using Rachey-woo in a serious battle against a serious opponent.

I personally only save the replays of my losses and look over those and see what went wrong. Currently I'm training for Season's Beatings this year and I don't do a lot of games over Ranked Matches and I don't think a lot of pro players will be sitting up there on the charts as with SSFIV. Played against a few pro players (who really owned my face and I only got close once, a while ago before I played better and eventually quit) that only played in Endless Matches against other good players. Its really the only way you can constantly keep playing competitive players without interruption.
