The art in CS is better than that in CT, what is he talking about? Teh art was improved!
Unless he's referring to the anime scenes, in which case, he's right.
Eh, the animation looks rather low budget, I'll admit. I'd care more if there was more of it.

even though I don't like characters inserted just for sex appeal.
Then don't play Japanese video games directed towards that kind of audience? Seriously, did you see some of the bonus art in Calamity Trigger and the comments? Or seen the Arc System Works store for Blazblue where they even link to online shops that sell doujinshi?

I don't even know how to respond to this, but i think it's clear that you're taking things way too seriously and way too personal. Yes it's offensive to call someone who isn't a paedophile a paedophile, that's the whole point. It was an insult, it was meant to be harsh and cruel and it seems it inspired the emotions in you that it was meant to. It's not the fault of Aksys or anyone else that you would have chosen to use a softer word or a different translation, that's just you inflicting your personal beliefs on other people. If you're so morally offend then sell your game, leave these forums and never return. If enough people do so, then the game will fail, but that's not going to happen and we both know it. Personally i'd be far more disappointed at the overall lack of quality in the release. -your mother is a classy lady- artwork, a useless manual and major grammatical and presentation errors with the translation, these are all well below the high standard Aksys set for itself. And just as some food for thought, consider this. You've spent the better part of the last two days on these forums calling Makoto a squirrel hooker. Do you think that might be offensive to say Women, especially ones that already get enough -your mother is a classy lady- for how the look and dress? It's the same damn thing you're -your mother is a classy lady- about, you're just too blind to understand that. The only difference is that calling Ragna a Pedo was relevant to the characterization of Luna and quite frankly was played in a non-serious way for comedy. Your comments on the other hand have done little more than fuel hatred. Maybe it's time you stopped trolling and left the reasonable people, the one's who contribute useful information like myself, alone.
If this forum has thread locking, now might be the right time to close this one.
Agreed that gamingking is taking it too damn seriously. Especially since that particular gag reel is one of my favorites and made me laugh :P artwork is a matter of opinion, on the otherhand...I feel like they could have put more effort in the animated scenes :/ why can't the quality be as sexy as the arcade op????!!
And here's something that's off topic...how come the track "Continuum Shift" isn't a choice in game or "Calamity Trigger"? Those are the 2 best tracks imo haha oh well.

I also agree. Just saw the gag reel today and thought it was pretty funny.
Gaming King, why are you soo offended by someone calling someone else a pedophile....unless.... @_@

Those two songs are too short. They would loop like five times a match. XD
The REAL question is, why can't we have the full versions of Ao - Iconoclast or Hit A Nail Through Your Head (that's the name of Bang's special theme, right?)?

No. I'm not. Some of my friends are. At least one is for sure, but also likes teh bewbie ladies, and some other friends of mine wouldn't surprise me if they said they were.
Eh...I rather have CT and CS arcade themes rather than full version of any of the vocal tracks, they make the game seem to anime-ish.... if that makes sense.
Sure. But they're incredibly short, unlike the Kotoko and Bang Shishigami songs.
I'll make my thoughts on this one simple. I've done translation before too... The thing is that I prefer the original scripts over the localization because the localization is meant to bring understanding to the culture the game/movie/etc is being brought into. I prefer literal translation as it is the closet to the truth, sometimes it is fine, but sometimes references are lost.
I understand jp somewhat so I would rather not read the text and I just listen to the audio. Or heck, I even change the text to japanese. If you're not happy with the english version I get it, but the thing is that is what the localization is for...
That aside, if you know jp great. Then you don't have to worry about paying attention to the localized version. You could pay tons more and just import the JP version and then you won't have english at all...

Any time you do any sort of localization you're going to lose something in translation. However, it's necessary because 1) there are very few people in the United States that understand Japanese, and 2) things that are said in Japanese may have an entirely different connotation in the United States and elsewhere.
As one of the people who don't understand Japanese beyond "desu", "kawaii", and "baka", I actually prefer localization. I've read a literal translation of the script of Final Fantasy VI once and found it to be incredibly boring.
Your mileage may vary of course. That's just my two cents.

That is completely why there is a localization. So it's all preference. I'm greatful that Aksys brought the game over. I liked GG, but it was too out there when it came to the characters. BB is more mainstream as far as design goes, so that is why I play BB more than GG. It's just the style. I was good at GG, but it just didn't seem like my type of game as it seems way to dark in style.
Sorry for thread necromancy, but I just wanted to set the record straight as far as Ragna being a pedophile is concerned.

P.S. I don't go looking for pictures like this. They find me. Frankly I wish they weren't so good at it.

Gaming King, I doubt you're ever coming back to this topic, but just so you know:
Calling the token loli character "Rachey-woo" every two seconds and then getting pissed off when people call you a pedophile really isn't making a good case of yourself. Especially when people apparently do this to you in real life and you defend yourself by saying that you're "an innocent man who's just nice". I'm really not getting very good vibes from your posts.

I do agree with you on these facts, though I doubt GK will respond, he hasn't said much of anything in a week or so. Either he rage quit, fell of the face of the earth or someone swung the almighty banhammer and did not miss.

lol, soo wrong...so ragna's robbing the grave and the cradle?
Ugh, I just saw that pic yesterday on Dustloop. Not fun, I much prefer the hot Nine pic, or Kokonoe with Lambda.
To anyone still worried about Challenge mode not showing the "end" of the combos...pressing Start and looking at the combo listing reveals everything you need to do.

The problem is people are to lazy to do this so they whine about it.
