Seriously though, I hardly ever get to fight anybody that doesnt use any other character than the typical Akuma/Ryu/Ken and the rare Gouken users. I main Sagat whenever i log on Live and it seems to me players consider him cheap due to his long reach, Pressure heavy special moves and that killer firece kick that doesnt allow anyone to get in close with jumps. To me he seems just fine, just a bit on the slow side.

MemberI'm really good with Ryu, Ken, and Sagat. Characters that I may sometimes play as is either Zangief or Guile.
Personally though. I hate fighting other Sagat players. The fact that you know anyone who uses Sagat is going to turtle, and I hate turtling, so that means I have to take far more time to finish the battle and can rarely make a mistake or it'll result in a hit, Sagat's being extremely powerful hits as well. When I play as Sagat, I'm more aggressive, though he's not as good in that aspect as Ryu and Ken.
I don't use Akuma at all even though he's a better Ryu/Ken clone. He's better, but not just that, he's cheap. Takes off far more damage than even Ken's LP/MP/HP Shoryuken, has the super Hadoken which he can easily win out in a Hadoken battle, and then of course, the air Hadoken. An Akuma and Zangief at about the same skill level and Zangief would most likely stand no chance as he's been a little bit nerfed in comparison to the ultimate badass he was in SFA3. Atleast in SFA3 Akuma and even Shin Akuma weren't so much more powerful just because the fact you could air block/etc so you could touch up what you've did if you accidently messed up.
I used to play as Sakura, but how bad I lose with her on SF4, I no longer touch her. I haven't played on her in the Alpha games or Rival Schools in a long time, but it seems she's worse than she used to be.

MemberThe fact that Akuma takes off more and the abilities he has nullifies the fact that his defense is a little lower. Also his low HK is faster and his low MK and LP are just like Ken and Ryu's(which is good because these characters have the best MK and LP in the game in my opinion.) His other regular attacks are different, but just like any other character you have to get used to how each the attacks work.
Also. I never said Zangief sucked as I use him which obviously means I like him. I only made mention that he's been nerfed from his SFA3 version. Alot of people make Zangief out to be alot more than he actually is and he's not on this game. The characters Zangief can rape easily are the same ones he's always been able to rape easily(and add C. Viper to that list of people Zangief would rape hard.) I've only lost to a single Zangief player ranked 6000BP, but the match was actually very close.

This is -your mother is a classy lady- ridiculous.
I mean, I wouldn't mind if they actually knew how to play. but the fact that they use the same -your mother is a classy lady- tactics. *jump in kick, sweep, shoryuken, repeat*.any ways. any one up for a match later on? Hit me up.
