I bought the Makoto DLC for BlazBlue : CS, and it's not working. I find it kinda shitty that i'm paying almost $5 for a character and I don't get to use her / wait for a fix...
I downloaded the new updated for Ranked Matches and the Makoto DLC and it doesn't work.
You really need to fix this shiet... And next time you release a character please don't include a color pack in it... I'd rather have a character for like 160-320 points and don't have any extra colors.
Could you be more specific about what doesn't work? Does Makoto not show up on the character select screen? Can you select her, but can't load a match? Or something else?

She doesn't show up at all... I tried training, legion, ranked match, story, everything. I purchased her, tried to re-download it, and nothing shows up. I go into my harddrive and into my BlazBlue CS save file and the DLC isn't there.
I also only have one storage device connected
If you're going into your HDD and the data isn't there, that sounds more like a connection problem with LIVE and an incomplete download. You may have to talk to Microsoft's customer support on that front.
Addendum:
Before you do that though, try this first:
1. Delete the 01.01 BBCS update, along with any DLC you bought.
2. Start the game, and re-update to version 01.01.
3. Exit the game, restart it, then exit it again (to ensure that 01.01 installed correctly)
4. Redownload the DLC.

Any ideas on how to get this to work? I just bought it and everytime I download it it just downloads the system update? I cleared my chache I've deleted both items and tried doing makoto first when it finishes up I check my harddrive and it just has the system update in there when I never even downloaded it!
You may have to go through Story mode til she shows up in the corner. Thats what I did. Just do what you normally would to get Mu.
Actually, you may have this problem if you're playing the Japanese Version because I believe it was started that they haven't even gotten the 1.01 patch yet. So she may not be showing up no there yet. Also, if you did something stupid like buy the NA DLC and you have a Japanese Disc, you just wasted $8.
