YESSS! She's bad! Awesome. Now we just need Valkenhayn to be good and Platinum to be good or bad depending on whether or not Sena and Luna rear their ugly... personalities...
It's really cute how you're so eager for a character to be bad that you'll take the first instance of random evidence against her as gospel truth. She's only been out for a DAY, nobody is going to have remotely helpful advice on if she's a decent character or not.
Makoto in Third Strike was regarded as one of the worst characters in the game when the game was first released, now there are arguments as to whether she should be in S tier with Ken, Chun, and Yun.
Seriously dude. It's alright if you don't like the character or whatever, but calm down. You're just making a fool of yourself when you do things like this.
THE REAL PROBLEM is that they patch Makoto in completely, then you have to pay to UNLOCK her. That's immoral.
Now, the download announcers, THOSE are fine. Those don't get patched in. You pay to download them. Not unlock them.
GET IT?
No, YOU don't get it. I'm only going to explain this one more time. This is how DLC for online games WORKS. The extra content is just that, extra. It was developed outside of the scope of the original product, so it costs extra to download and use it. However, they have to make it so that you can still play the game without paying for the download. So they have to patch her into the coding so that you don't get constant errors anytime someone uses her in an online match. Yes, this means that you have to spend a couple KB of space for her data on your PS3 to play the game.
If you have a problem with the way DLC works in general, that's an argument for another time and another place, but claiming that the Makoto DLC is somehow immoral because you personally don't want to spend a few KB of hard drive space so that you can properly play online, well, that's just silly.
And the Squirrel Hooker "joke" is really, really lame. I think every single person here would appreciate it if you'd stop it.
