As much as you are disgusted for having to pay for a DLC character, I am even more disgusted for having read the whiny rant of someone who didn't bother taking two seconds to read what he was buying before he purchased it.
Makoto DLC is a RIP OFF. I will never buy an Aksys game again.

Hey, at least the Street Fighter outfits transfer over to the new game. Our DLC color packs from CT don't even transfer over to CS...
I don't mind DLC, but it is a bit pricey for what is in it. I didn't want the extra colors, and I had to buy it because they were bundled with Makoto DLC pack.
Maybe they could have at least made the pieces of Makoto, like colors, and unlimited Makoto separate from the main Makoto DLC?
So, from what I know, only the music was on the Disc for the three DLC characters, that and the crests right?

Music, Crests and the Character portrait. Everything else was in the bundle.
As for the price and breaking things up. Yes, the colour palettes are ridiculously expensive. Yes the Unlimited unlocks are a bit ridiculous. But i don't think for a second that Makoto would have been any cheaper if those weren't bundled with her. Not to mention that if they weren't there you'd either need the previous palette unlocks or she'd have to have separate DLC and that would piss people off too.

MemberI really really don't get why this became such a heated topic. Okay, so Makoto actually had to be BOUGHT and the next two probably will have to be too. So? In the end that's about 24$ + the original 40$ (tax not included) so you still end up paying about the same as a whole brand new game or the next in a series of other intellectual propertys (Gears of War, God of War, Halo, etc)
Also, 8$ for a character isn't really all that bad. Look at some of the DLC for other games. Map packs are often 8$ if not more, new weapons are about 5-6$ and new characters or skins are often somewhere between those two prices. If ya don't like paying for it, don't buy it. If you did buy it and regret the decision, here's some news: That's life. Disappoints will unfortunately come everyone's way and we all have to accept them.

Memberok, really. on top of it being stated that she wasn't going to be story and arcade, i kinda figured that. ITS DLC, NOT DISK. common sense would tell you this no offense.

she's a kick ass characture that i am in the process of learning how to use.

Membermy friend is wondering if Jubie is going to be added, along with the two other heros. but if they make a 3rd game, then it might make sense if they waited until that one to add the rest of the hero's as playable characters. i think jubie would get a story though if they did that

Member^No, actually. He had a point when he said (second page of the thread) that the description said nothing about Makoto not being available in arcade or story mode. Course, he could have figured that out by spending, like, two seconds at Dustloop or some other ArkSys forum instead of immediately throwing his money at his console, but nope. He preferred being a whiny blowhard about his optional content.
