I'd say that's almost worse than the boxart for Calamity Trigger.
At least they got the logo right this time.

Honestly I think it's alright box art, just in the wrong animation style. It's too realistic and not in keeping with the game's anime roots. I do, however, think it's a lot better than the US art work that looks like it was pieced together in 30 seconds using photoshop and a bunch of stock images from ASW. JP is still the best.

I don't really like the box art of the US version either. The image used in the manual was WAY better. Lambda, Mu and Nu look way better. Could I ask for that image to be released as a wallpaper?

In regards to the cover...it's like Mike Choi's art and Sonia Oback's inks went horribly, horribly wrong.
