I was just wondering what fighting games do people recommend here(besides the obvious GG and maybe BB) and play? Also any experiences with any other fighting game, bad or good write em down.
Played the new Street Fighter 4 but GG ruined me and SF4 just seems slow.
A no-go for me.
Played original Soul Edge but was too young to really appreciate it.
Played Soul Caliber 2. Played it and loved it.
Played and own Soul Caliber 3. Played it a long time and loved it. This is when I really started to learn combos and just sat in the practice to learn all the pokes.
Played and own Soul Caliber 4 would be fun but they changed the move sets up a bit and I don't wanna re-learn new combos for my mains. I had good stun combos and mix ups with SC 3 and they changed how you impact guard, no longer can impact guard grabs(I think) and made impact guard less fun. Might give it a try again to learn combos one day.
Played King of Fighters 11 but once more GG ruined me and didn't like characters compared to GG characters. GG characters were just, in my opinion, much cooler in character design and did much more flasher moves then the simple "fire ball" flying across the screen.
After picking up GG I never regretted it. Great fighting game.
Some Doujin Fighters.
Played and loved Melty Blood Act Cadenza v B, quick pace and fun characters.
"Quit shooting lasers out of your eyes!"
"You wanna see lasers out of my eyes?"
*picks Neco-Arc*
"My eyes are twice as big and guess how big my lasers are!"
I rank this a bit slower next to GG in speed.
A must play if you like GG and anime.
I wanna play Actress Again.
Big Bang Beat 1st impression, after the patches the game gets much better and balanced. Some what positive response from me. Must try if your into 2d fighters.
CRUCIS FATAL FAKE, Fun if you like the anime Fate/stay Night.
Valkyrie Fight Tag, Fun if you like Valkyrie Profile.
As you see I haven't played a lot of fighting games, at least the old ones, but I wanna hear your fighting gaming history and any recommendations.
