They're gone. I appear to have missed mine by only a few minutes, too. They were there while I was filling out my payment information, and when I went to complete the order, they were sold out. This is actually pretty disappointing; I've wanted one of these since the announcement of the Japanese special edition.

Any chance more will pop up? I'd love to give Aksys more of my money.

I agree on a buying cap, not to be among the ones why cry out, but I really think if you guys restock, you both should really do a more concise job on notifying people in advance with like a release date; rather then just out of the blue saying "here they are" and also putting a limiter on and saying one per costumer. that way at least there's a fair chance, since I am more then willing to bet there were people who bought multiples and left us who were unaware either due to lack of proper notification or at work. Not to cry foul or even seem rude, but the way this was handled was sort of a botched deal. No offense intended.

Well that sucks, it's morning here and I see this post and the figures are gone already. Bel, did you make sure to cap the quantity to 1 for each purchase, I am more than sure some ebay opportunist ordered more than 1.

Um... it's a store item, not a game. Store items don't really need a release date. I'm sure they just had a limited supply, whatever was left over from AX would be my guess, which is always first come, first served.

Can I not elicit even a sarcastic quip?

Wow, there wasn't even a fair chance to get one. They sold out before most people even got home. Plus I bet there were resellers that bought 10+.. Bogus.. There really needs to be a restock. :/

I wanted one, but I'm not the hugest Noel fan anyhow. Now, if Aksys wants to throw me that Taokaka plush that was prototyped a year back, I'd gladly pay a small fortune for it! :D

Still, I'm pretty disappointed in this whole sale....

It'd be great if some of them were shipped to retail stores. That way it'd make it a bit more easier for people to buy it instead of coming home, going to aksys store and seeing it all sold it. =(
