   Hey all, first time poster here. The Japanese voices are way too quiet!! When I was watching youtube videos BBCS I could hear them crisply and clearly and they were not drowned out by other sounds. Now after release however, they can barely be heard above sound effects and music. Now you could just say turn the volume up but I have done that. Everything else just drowns them out, even if music is under 50%. Turning the stereo system up should not be necessary with the volume potential of all the other sounds. So I'm requesting: PLEASE PATCH and raise the volume so we can hear the characters talking.

   If anybody else agrees, please help this get the attention of Aksys!!

   Really? I haven't noticed this at all. Perhaps it's because you use a stereo system? Which character in particular are you talking about, because not every character is affected by this.

   English voices are quiet too. Problem is that the yelling is really loud and the whispering is EXTREMELY quiet.

   Agreed with Hollow_Ninja. Voices seem all right to me.

   Maybe you should check your audio options on your TV and/or PS3?

   Or in the worst case, adjust everything manually in the Audio Options of the game itself. Something to add, is that in my case, Mu's voice is a bit louder than the other characters'. Not like I complain. I like Kanako Kondo's voice a lot.

   It's pretty much all the japanese voices. I had already tried adjusting things through the game and it hasn't helped. The stereo seems to be fine for everything else.

   I have no problems, and I too play using a stereo. Maybe the problem is your sound system?

   Just turn down the music volume down a couple notches, that's what I did. I'm using a surround sound system but I don't think this game really makes use of that, so it should get the same results for stereo I think.

    Alright, so the more I play with the slide bars of bgm, voice and sfx volume the more I notice that the voice volume slider does not change the volume of voices in game; only announcer. :( I can't figure this out!!

    It's fine for me in Stereo, and I always use Japanese voices.
    It may be that if you have a surround system, the voices are more or less equal on both sides, and being routed to your center channel speaker - see if you can set your receiver strictly to 2-channel, or at the very least, disable spatialization ("concert", "rock", "classic" etc.)
    If you cannot disable surroundsound and it's still causing issues, maybe try a DVD that has a setup feature in it, and make sure the test sound from your front, rear, and center speakers are all equal, and that the wires on your center are not reversed - it'll still make sound, but it will be out of phase with the other speakers and can sound... odd at times.

    Also... maybe you can tell your console to output differently, like in stereo, just for testing?

    Well, one thing's for sure, any voices added via DLC characters are much louder than usual, they should fix that.
