Let me start off by saying that I'm absolutely loving BB:CS. It's my first BB (though I'm a long-time GGXX fan) and I'm enjoying it immensely. However, I'm having one problem with it. Namely, Ultimate Hazama in Arcade Mode.
Now before you go telling me to practice and get better, etc, hear me out here. It's not just the difficulty I'm having with Ultimate Hazama that's the problem here. It's the general difficulty curve of Arcade Mode as well. I obviously do not have the skill required to beat U. Hazama. But on Normal I absolutely breeze through the first nine fights. I mean, I never lose a round. Hell, I never lose more than half of my lifebar unless I'm screwing around trying to experiment with new combos and such. If not for U. Hazama I'd probably increase the difficulty a bit. But then Hazama comes around and I just can't beat him.
What I'm getting at here is that anyone who IS skilled enough to beat U. Hazama on Normal will have an even easier time with the first nine fights in Arcade Mode than I do. And I can't see that being too much fun for a skilled player. The difficulty spike with U. Hazama kills the enjoyment for both skilled and not-so-skilled players. Skilled players aren't going to have fun with the easy-as-pie first nine fights just to get up to a challenging opponent in U. Hazama, and not-so-skilled players aren't going to have fun going through nine fights just to get to him and hit a brick wall that they can't surpass. My point here is that U. Hazama should really be patched to be at least a bit easier.
I know this post will at best fall on deaf ears, and at worst be ridiculed because when it all comes down to it I'm complaining that something's too hard, but I figured I'd at least try to bring it up and see what people think. *lol*
