Well, I was playing a little while ago in the Network mode. I challenged a few guys and won, then lost, won again, lost again, but then some guy appeared, challenged me first, and chose Jin. I chose Lambda, and the match started. The guy was very good, but made a little mistake that I started exploiting. Afterwards, I was winning the whole match, and then the guy just quit. I was disappointed, and a few seconds later, I receive a message from that guy, telling me my mom is a really classy lady. I was like "What!?"

That was JUST the first time tonight. I actually had THREE ragequitters.

Which leads me to my question: Does the amount of unfinished games have some kind of penalty or something?

Main: Lambda-11 (BBCS), Urs, Freed (BF) and Petra (AH3)
Sub: Noel, Mu-12, Tsubaki, Taokaka and Makoto (BBCS), Olivia and Odille (BF), Akane (AH3)

If you ragequit too much, you get a red name, and people will know that you're a quitter. I don't think there's any actual penalty, but if you consider this a penalty, then I suppose it is: if you have any replay on the leaderboards, others cannot download the match.

That aside yea, expect a ton of rage quits. Especially in ranked because ppl love to win, but they are more than happy to disconnect on a lose. Unfortunately they allow ppl to rage quit to some extent before they get marked.

I had at least 90 ragequits from CT... Expecting some more from CS. Hence why my record gets bad because I'm honest and stay through all my matches it counts my lost matches versus someone who occasionally ragequits, CT didn't count those as lost matches.

I had a ragequit last week las time I played online during a rank match. Oh well, its even more satisfying making people ragequit offline. Not like that effects online ranking either. Online rankings in my opinion are just for show anyway and games like this are definitely made for me to get out and meet others face to face. Nothing like kicking ass or getting your ass kicked with the person sitting right there next to you. You can't replicate that online~

One time online, I played 5 games and 4 out of the 5 rage quit and they all gave me this excuse "It was you that quit" even though I was about to win the match...

Your gonna get rage quitters here and there, they should just give you the win if the other player rage quits.

Ah really?! Well I play friends with a 0 connection and it works just as it would for a 3. Some ppl I play who have a 3 really lag like a o, so I honestly don't get the whole.... connection ratings. It was like that with CT.

Totally agree. Not to mention that lame penalty of red name highlights. I didn't even know that was a warning until someone told me. Lame excuse for a penalty...

Hahahaha, it would be an interesting concept if the game would notify the rage quitter with On screen prompts and reactions such as :

Third Offense: Message pop up before fight " Quitting is sign weakness, dont do it again "

Fourth Offense: Message pop up before fight " You were warned "

Round 1 - Damage Penality

Fifth Offense: Message pop up before fight " Didnt learn the last time, alright then. "

Round 1/2 - Drive ability canceled with Pink color palette.

Sixth Offense : Matchmaking sets offender up with a CPU with fake usertag on Easy mode.

After battle - Pop up message : "See, that wasnt so bad, btw this was a CPU on Easy mode. Did you like it?"

Then they'll start RQing against the CPU offline. Not pretty O.O

So... If someone else ragequits, I get axed as well because of the unfinished match? DAMN...

Arc System Works should have thought about this.
If someone is playing someone and the match is incomplete, they could put different notices that show up in their status as reasons for incomplete matches.

Connection lost.
Decided to abandon the match for any reason among them ragequitting.
The person he/she was playing against quit for any reason like above.

I don't think it should have been too hard to implement such a thing. After all, when the connection is lost, we do get said message.
