I was on the Japanese BlazBlue portal site when I stumbled across a news article regarding "BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II." Here's a link (it should be the third article from the top):

It's an update to the arcade version coming this Winter. It will have Mu and all the DLC characters playable and will include balance changes.

Release date for this is September 9?
Unless I'm reading the moon-runes wrong. Does that mean Valkenhayn comes out on the same date (still listed as just "September").
And where's Platinum?
EDIT: Apparently it's being showcased at the 48th Amusement Machine Show those dates. The actual release date is still TBA.

It makes sense to me to do an arcade update in the area's of the world where the arcade scene is still thriving. Continuum Shift has been out for almost a year in arcades, the console version got and is still receiving new content the arcade version doesn't have so far and on top of that, Arc System works seems focused on having Continuum Shift being the definitive Blazblue title for awhile, so why not release a "Super Blazeblue" for arcades?

Continuum Shift 2 is the exact same thing the console version will be with the DLC and patches.
Ark isn't dumb. They wouldn't release something that is literally the same game, just with all the extra features on the disk as its own game.Kirby
