I just got home from purchasing the 360 edition of Continuum Shift. How many of you out there have or are planning on doing the same?
PS: Thank you so much Aksys games for not using that dumb 360 game box with the holes cut in it.

But that box is "ECO-FRIENDLY".
You know, I feel kinda upset in the stomach after typing that.
I agree about the green box. They seem thinner, which is fine, but the pizza slice cuts are annoying since they can damage the boxart... and I LOVE the boxart for this game. :)
I picked up both the 360 and PS3 version of Calamity Trigger. I may end up doing the same for Continuum Shift once the PS3 version goes down in price a bit.

So is the box Continuum shift uses, it just thins out a portion of the box instead of the box just having holes in it.
I do have to say after playing the 360 version a bit, the PS3 version definitely feels like the primary version with the 360 version being a port. Though, #12 on the main menu telling you what content is for sale with having to leave the game is cool.

Any particular reason why? I'm curious now.

There are just momentary visual glitches I experience whenever I open and close the Xbox dashboard which its PS3 does not have. It just seems the PS3 is probably the primary platform it was developed for (in regards to consoles) due to having less minor glitches. Plus I think i've read about some people having ranked match achievements not showing up without having to reset the game and do another ranked battle (not sure in this case if it was a console specific problem or not, but i've only heard 360 players talk about it).
I am aware that it doesnt come with the lid. I have gone up and down through every thread with the key words 'armrest' or 'console box' that has been out since 05. This is the last thing I need to finish off my interior, however. And I really just dont like my arm rest extension that much, it only lets me use one damn cupholder.

Wait, what?
If you are referring to the 360 version glitches I mentioned, they really aren't game breaking by any means. This screen messing up lasts for less than a second, I thought I would bring it up because its the only 360 game I know that does that.
Usually its the PS3 version of a game which ends up having a few minor glitches the 360 counterpart does not have.
Update: I discovered the screen issue will only happen off of then default scaling type. On both consoles, I play with scaling type B because I dislike having some of the screen cropped on my TV. Upon discovering this, I tested it with type c also & it has the same irregularity. The issue appears to be the game switching back to the type A setting for a split second upon closing the Xbox dashboard.
Planning to get the 360 version today, actually.
I wish all my friends would stick to one system.

For some reason I can no longer edit my posts, but just so you know, I have both versions now.

With the typical game, that's my feeling. But Fighting games are interesting with their vastly different online communty. The PS3 Blazblue community can easily destroy me while the 360 one is closer to my current skill level in the game.
I got the 360 version, haven't had any minor glitches... Yet. =/ Hope to get a PS3 soon and CS for it.
I got it for the PS3. One of my friends got it for the 360 (annoys the hell out of me because he has both consoles) but most of them got the PS3 version.
PS3 here. I have a PS3, but my brothers have a 360 I sometimes use... They hate BB, though...
