You make a compelling argument.
I can't answer your question, though, because I really don't know. I would imagine the answer is "no", however. I believe the game was developed specifically for the 360, using an engine Arc wrote themselves. I don't know the details, but I imagine porting that engine to the PS3 would be prohibitive, in terms of cost, time, and likely sales. I could be wrong, of course, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
