   im sick of people wanting mediocre fighters, arcana heart sucks, melty blood is better, but honestly, i prefer blazblue. cave, deserves the localization. they excel at shmups. btw, arcana heart can be imported and played easily, you know, ddp dfk cant.

   Why will you be pissed? This poll was started by a member, not anybody at Aksys. Besides, polls just show a popular opinions. Opinions do not mean anything. Aksys is going to bring over a game that they feel will make them a profit. Just be glad that your voice was heard. If you were on the Atlus forum they probably would have closes this thread by now.

   Have you played Arcana Heart? By the way, this isn't a 'STFU BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT, AND THEREFORE YOU CAN'T HAVE AN OPINION' thing, I'm just curious. I can see why people wouldn't like Arcana Heart.

   +1 for Dodonpachi Dai-Fukkatsu! Deathsmiles was great, I'd love to see more of Cave's stuff brought over. The upcoming Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets would be awesome too!

   But Duo is a good choice as well, there seems to be a bit of a cult following. I'm sure with proper (read: ANY) advertising, it could do better than the first one did in North America.

    This is a difficult question. Not the choices, I think each of those games would fare well if they were picked up, and I would like to see each of them out (especially DUO).

    My response will be "other" as in "all of the above (especially DUO)", but if I had to personally choose... Game Center CX 2/Retro Game Challenge 2. However, I won't select that. People will pirate the hell out of that game... again. Sega has games that the U.S. branch will -never- localize that top notch quality titles (Project Diva 2, Seventh Dragon, etc.), but I won't select those either.

    Okay, my official response is "other" but consider it "all of the above and/or something really, really cool!", please. Sorry, I mean, I have a list ready but I don't know about them catching on fire here.

    That is a huge NO! The people who post on this forum only make up like .0000001 of the population. They {Aksys's marketing department] would need a lot more people to show interest in it in order to bring it over.

    Umineko no Naku no Koro Ni - Rondo. The PS3 retelling of the famous visual novel of the same name. This game desperately needs to be brought over to the western world, considering the massive fanbase it has over here. This is the game that will really break through the stigma gaming corporations have over visual novels.

    I wasn't talking about this thread or forum alone. If you check anything else (such as Youtube, other forums, etc.) that has any of these games mentioned, you can see the amount of hype there is. None of them really have enough interest to demand a localization, I would think. For example SRK has a whole 60something + thread about Arcana Heart 3. 'A majority' was probably an extremely bad way to word it, I was more so speaking about 'a large amount of people, including the votes here.'

    I probably sound like a huge fanboy only using AH3 examples... but those are really the only examples I have. I'd love all of these games to make it to the States somehow.

    In the case of Melty Blood's low resolution, there IS a method they could implement to make the characters look less pixelated. Filtering. If anyone has Marvel VS Capcom 2 either for PS3 or 360, you can see the effect. They used that method to make the characters look less dated. In emulators, there is the Super Eagle Engine for example, which does the same thing.

    Seeing some images from the official site, I noticed they already use a filter to a certain extent.

    Of course, it doesn't look BlazBlue grade, but at least it's there. Depending on the filter used, even Melty Blood could look shiny like a new game, I think.

    You don't need to sample the entire worlds population to figure out consumer interest and trends. Most market research from giant corporations is based on the opinions of a few hundred people.

    To me it's pretty clear there is a lot of interest in Arcana Heart from BlazBlue players but you can't expect everybody to vote here, this is a very small forum.
