MemberAgain, a fixed port of AH2 would probably be the first step; story seekers will be upset that there is no English version, and outsiders to the series will be confused why there is an Arcana Heart 1 and 3, but no 2...so, I dunno...I'm sure a fixed port wouldn't be that bad a thing to release, would it?

The developer has shown no interest in making a fixed port, and it's unlikely they would do it just for the US audience. Plus, it's a PS2 game, and the PS2 is a dead console, so it's too late for that anyway. Dream all you want, the chance of AH2 in English is 0%.

MemberI was messing around the Arc System Works website and noticed the release for Arcana Heart 3 is getting closer. I hope Aksys releases it as either a hard copy or digital... Although... I'd prefer the digital for several reasons... like the ease of buying from the PSN, as opposed to ordering the game online, since all there is in my area is Call of Duty...

MemberI'd like a atleast one last Sakura Taisen game and also Growlanser, particularly both on PSP.
I know those are probably almost impossible for Aksys to get, though.
I also did a ton of looking through visual novels/dating sims on gamespot and found one game that looks like it would have a lot of potential innuendo and "dirtyness" to manipulate in marketing.

MemberVioletWitch and others wanting an AH2 with fixed "bugs" before AH3, that can't happen because the problem with that game wasn't its bugs, it was released -on the wrong system-. They weakened the graphical assets and animation to the point where if a character did anything but their standing idle animation, they became a jagged blur, and this -still- didn't help enough for the game to run smoothly. Petra, the two-guns girl, had lag on her NORMALS.
I have since read that there were some compression options that they could have taken with the sprites to perhaps have things run more smoothly, but somewhere in development they must have run into a reason not to do that or just gave up. I was one of the people that had preordered AH2 before any of us knew about these problems. We all expected it to be on the PS3/360, saw it was announced on the PS2 and thought hey, they must have found a way to make it work! No.
To "fix" AH2, they would have to either completely redevelop the game for the PS2 with more processing shortcuts or redevelop it for the PS3, which is a lot of work for a US localization when they could just...port AH3. My copy of AH2 is still in its shrink wrap and I have no idea what to do with it.

better yet, do a do don pachi dai-fukkatsu and daioujou bundle so we can finally see 2 localized DDP games (even tho there hasn't been ONE localized DDP game yet)!! There are already Arcana Heart games available for consoles (previous installments) but not a single localized console version of a do don pachi game!I voted for dai-fukkatsu, but I would love do don pachi daioujou or ketsui kizuna jigoku as well :[

We got the first but missed the second because the original didn't have enough advertisement to sell well.
With how Aksys has been doing lately, they could easily promote AH3 well enough for sales to equal or surpass BB.

MemberI wholeheartedly second what VioletWitch said about Steins;Gate or Chaos;Head. Well, perhaps not those two titles in particular, but general worksafe PSP ports of popular visual novels. What could go wrong, really?
Either way, I voted for 'other', with the 'other' games being more visual novels, and of course, Umineko's PS3 port.
