I'm sure Belisaurus won't leave us twisting in the wind. I'm sure he'll give us whatever information has come up in regards to both the 360 and the PS3 versions
Just an FYI for anyone jumping to the end of this thread, I've updated the initial post with more information describing the exact nature of the problem and Arc's suggested work-around.

I don't really buy that an issue like that couldn't be patched afterwards. Did they take the DLC OFF Japanese PSN when they discovered the issue?
I personally don't ever use queue+training and I also don't play Ragna or Hazama, and it is unlikely that I will take Valkenhayn to ranked any time soon, so the whole DLC being stopped because of a bug like that feels pretty shitty to me, to be quite frank about it. On top of all that, delaying Valkenhayn doesn't say anything about the Ragna x Hazama issue.
I'm sure I'm not the only one, either.

Although I sorta agree, you're one person out of several thousand. So unfortunately, for the greater populace, fixing the bug comes first. ;-; We gotta wait.

Honestly, delaying the entire DLC is pretty terrible, been waiting so long as it is.

Sorry, this whole thing is kind of confusing for us as well. I was mistaken about Valkenhayn DLC being delayed for the PS3. The DLC will be up the 28th, as planned, but the freeze bug will still be there until Arc gets their fix out. I've updated my initial post to reflect this.

Wow, thanks for the info. It really sucks for Xbox360 users, though, I’m glad I picked this one for PS3 (I had CT for the 360). I hope it’s going to end well for them and they won't have to wait too long.
honestly when it comes down to me, and how the patch is part of the valkenhayn DLC...i say F the patch, i just want the character. and all the technical issues that i have yet to experience...just dont bother me. But, ill just wait it all out by continue to draw my character fighting Valkenhayn for being late.

So Xbox 360 is getting it a few weeks later....anyone still want to say my prediction of late October/early November is off? Honestly, Arc System Works can kiss my ass on this one, they better -your mother is a classy lady- compensate me for having to wait a few WEEKS after those -your mother is a classy lady- elitist PS3 losers.

Considering the patch also involves the game crashing, I'm pretty sure this is a top priority for Arc and that they will have the game fixed sooner rather than later. Unfortunately next week probably isn't happening on the 360.

Well, if it bothers you so much, don't buy it when it comes out. Seriously, that's the only way you're going to take a stand on this. If you actually purchase the DLC when it's released, you're basically telling Arc System Works "I hate you but I'll buy your stuff anyway".
I'd call you the next Gaming King, but Gaming King still seems to be lurking about.

The hell i'm going to pay for it after they pulled this stunt. As awesome as Valk looks, with the -your mother is a classy lady- they pulled, he better be -your mother is a classy lady- free on 360, or i'm not downloading him. I'm contemplating just selling the game altogether.

dude seriously, there is no need to go all mental over a DLC delay. it ain't the end of the world. Just means we get Valk a little late is all. We'll manage. I'll be off enjoying Makoto to the hilt for my tourney, enjoying Fable II, Sonic Adventure and the new Borderlands DLC in the mean time. And even if you sell your game over such a tiny issue, it's just a drop in the bucket. Never thought I'd quote 4chan outside of it but ...
