closedJust got Valkenhayn, and I gotta say he's pretty damn powerful and easy to use. Granted I haven't really gotten the Wehrwolf into the equation much, but with a bit of practice he could be a dangerous character.
Also Belisarius, I know you get this question a lot, but have you heard ANYTHING about the 360 version?

While I understand it takes time to get things redone and submitted, I have to say that image is most appropriate on depicting how I'll feel in about another week. First Valk is delayed for an unforeseeable reason, my High Stakes edition of Dead Rising 2 will be arriving on an unknown day/week when I preordered it and still no news on 360 Valk. Here's hoping this loop of delay and unknown times change.

Not the biggest bright side in the world lol the glitch or update for that matter to me have no relevance. i never encountered anything of what the patch is fixing, and i dont do anything the glitch affects lol and im gonna be Pointless after this valkenhayn buy so 1$ doesn't buy much of anything on Xbox live. but you sure made me lol, and that made my day

Aye have fun PS3 dudes, I just hope things pass through and the lunkheads at Microsoft will approve the the resubmitted Valk/patch and we can get along, put this all behind this and hope this doesn't happen in October (prediction) for Trinity for either PS3 or 360 users.

Hey, it's a small bright side, but I'll take it. Frankly, I don't give a rat's arse about Platinum, but for the sake of the folks who do, let's hope it ain't a repeat performance. Also, Belisaurius, since this IS Microsoft's fault, think you could talk to them? (If that's not too much to ask, of course...)

I hate being a bother as well, but I also would like to second the motion of asking. While I fully understand these things aren't fixed within a day, we still cannot help but be a bit curious.

Belisarius, do you think this is going to affect the platinum release at all? There was about a month and a half between Makoto and Valk so I'm assuming she'll come out around mid November. Assuming everything goes as planned with her (No bugs, blah blah blah) do you think she'll still be released at that time? Us xbros might not be seeing valk for over a month, do you think arcsys would release both of them so close to each other or do you think they might delay her a bit?
If there is a projected time for Platinum, I don't know it, so everything I'm saying might be wrong.

I don't think we're going to find out much about Platinum's release date until about the time it actually happens (if Valkenhayn is anything to go by). And while I'm pretty sure the character is being tweaked, I'm also sure that Arc System Works is going to try to fix the 360 patch before they get started on Platinum.
Or they might just say "forget it" and skip 1.02 with the 360 and go directly to 1.03, releasing Valkenhayn and Platinum simultaneously for the 360. I'm actually thinking that might be the better option at this point, to tell you the truth.

platinum already seems to be in the mid stages, hasn't anyone paid attention to Tokyo Game show? they showed her off in a trailer. They long ago started on her o.o

That's as may be, there's more to Platinum's release than just the character. There's the whole part about patching her into the game, getting approval from Microsoft/Sony, etc.
I don't doubt that she's at least 90% complete, if not fully complete outside of some balance tweaking. That's not the issue here.

I loved how everyone was freaking out over Valkenhayn delays on the BBCS PS3 board on Game***s. So funny how desperate people are to waste their dough.
