Well Aksys is supposed to announce two games at... Anime Expo? I can't remember, the topic with the link is around here somewhere. I haven't said anything for fear of jinxing it, but I'm hoping one is Umineko.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but unless the keywords 'marvelous' and 'otome' relate to Umineko, an Anime Expo announcement seems unlikely.

Umineko is marvelous, and people do consider it an otome (though I personally don't).

Well, I just hope there might be something more unisex as well outside of the two otome games, though of course, I might be a bit too wishful on that. Regardless, the more for the genre of visual novels, the happier I am, otome, or galge.

I am sort of guessing one of the Hakuouki games are being brought over. Not sure which, but if there are anything otome coming, Hakuouki having a game on most consoles sort of hints to me it is a candidate, not to mention, it IS Idea Factory.... so like I said, if any otome games are truly coming, that has got to be one of them.

Where is this idea that we're getting two otome games coming from? Considering that bringing one over at all is considered a financial risk, I'd be amazed if Aksys were to do two.

And I'd say Umineko would be pretty enjoyable for anyone to play, considering how well the mystery genre does with the ladies.

Haven't been around to often... work and trying to platinum a game was taking most of my time. I still support both Umineko games.

Their interviews with Siliconera. We know they're definitely doing something with an otome game and by the sound of it, it's more than one. We'll know within a week, I guess.

Otome games and PSP RPGs, with something by Marvelous (probably one of the RPGs).

Aksys is repeating the "if there's enough people who want it, we'll see". There's more than enough people that want Umineko and still no word about it.
