Weird.

   I get the feeling, though, that they're going to be considered the same super move in MVC3, and they'll probably have the same input, too.

   Yeah, I can't see any real difference between the beam and the barrage outside of cosmetics. Then again, I don't look very hard at these things.

   On another note, if the rumors are confirmed, then my MvC2 team (Doom/Felicia/Sentinel) somehow made it to MvC3. Not sure how I feel about that.

   I mean, anyone who actually thinks Sentinel will be as OP as he was in MvC2 is a moron.

   I'm a little disappointed that we won't be getting Juggernaut. He was definitely the main powerhouse of my MVC2 team. I'm glad Tron is back, though, even if she's the only member of my team that's actually returning.

   I think Sentinel's still going to be pretty good in this game, even if he's not op. He'll probably have some pretty big damage output with high defense (But no super armor, thankfully). I think if they just tone down how much damage he can do and limit his movement options a bit (No character that big should be able to move and attack as fast as he does), he should fit in pretty well.

   Nah, of course not.
   Though I'm sure he'll make an excellent replacement for Juggernaut. :P Here's for Tron/Dormammu/Sentinel.

   Sentinel and Hsien-Ko confirmed.

   Hsien-Ko is mostly the same, but her gong wave stays on the screen a VERY long time and still reflects projectiles. She has all of her moves from Darkstalkers, and her supers, including her Dark Force (if it does what it did in Vampire Savior, it'll give her unlimited armor)

   Sentinel seems to be Sentinel without all of the things that made him so overpowered. He doesn't have armor anymore, and none of the videos show him flying, so I don't know how well his flying works in this game (if he even HAS it). He's still very powerful, though, and keeps all of the old moves he had.

   Right there in his reveal trailer, bro. He starts flying mid-combo.

   But yeah, he seems much weaker this go-around. No more chip damage on his normals, no more super armor, and toned down flying based on gameplay I've seen.

   I noticed he was kinda hovering during one of his combos, but also noticed he did that during his Rocket Punch and didn't think much of it. Looking again, I noticed the flames underneath him turn blue while hovering, suggesting it IS flying.

   But yeah, no way he moves across the screen like a jet in this game.

   So if leakers and broken street dates are any indication: Tron and Hsien-Ko suck (DAMMIT), newbie Dantes and Deadpools are going to be everywhere online (but really, I could have told you that), and if you don't have 50Sent Sentinel on your team, expect to lose a lot.

   So what are you guys planning for your first teams? I'm thinking Wesker/Sent/god i dunno random or something.

    I don't know about Hsien-Ko but there was a stream a few months back where Seth showed some of what Tron had to offer and she looked pretty solid then. That and blocked Drill into Level 3 is pretty awesome.

    Also, I foresee a lot of Arthurs online so Hsien-Ko's gong sounds real nice to me.

    I really want to try out most of the cast before I make a decision because a lot of these characters interest me but my first team is likely going to be Hsien-Ko and Tron with either Amaterasu or X-23 on point.

    Well, of course Seth's going to make Tron look good. He has to make everyone look good, that's literally his job. (not trying to sound smug here, Seth's pretty cool and all, but still)

    Yeah, cancelling a blocked drill into her level three sounds pretty good, but that's one of her very few punishes, and that fact that it's her level three hyper limits its use either way.

    As for Hsie(oh, screw it) Lei-Lei, people are outright calling her a waste of space. Not in the "WHY'D THEY PUT HER IN INSTEAD OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTER KUNG-FU WEREWOLF" way, but in the "she's completely useless" way.

    Of course, nothing's set in stone. I mean, the game's technically not even out yet, and tier lists and rankings have a tendency to change over time. Tron might actually be the best character in the game for all we know. And I'm probably just going to end up using Lei-Lei anyway, because that swing assist of hers (especially when it gets buffed with Dark Force) looks really useful and that "bye-bye!" at the end of her assists is so adorable it simultaneously induced and cured my diabetes.
