Okay since trolling got the best of the first thread, I'd like to start another one simply for conversations only. Just to kill time til Valk comes out. So please keep out any negative rants or trolling that got the other one closed please? I enjoy the conversations. Any topics go here. Valk, Luna, theories (on the story line please) or just other games you're playing to kill the wait. Check your shoes, power of negative thinking at the door and have some fun. We'll be here for a spell. Thread open!

First off, to "Thread Open!" I have to say "gate: OPEN!" (you likely won't get the reference)
I did find something cool about Platinum though, a detailing of her movelist:
And i'll post it here for the lazy
(NOTE: This is NOT covered there, but Platinum the Trinity has 10,000 health and 5 Primers):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not only did the second location text for Blazblue: Continuum Shift 2 give us a look at the new character balances, it also gave us our first chance to see the last DLC character, Platinum the Trinity in action. The good guys over at the Dustloop forums were kind enough to translate all the notes that have been taken about this particularly peculiar character. We have taken all their notes, as well as translator’s notes from other areas of the internet, and compiled it all into one large information dump. So, if you have a taste for magical girls with large bludgeoning implements, look no further. This is Platinum the Trinity.
Notation explanation: All directions are recorded as numbers on a number pad as follows.
789
456
123So 236C means down, down/forward, forward, C. 5D means press no direction and D. A lower case j means “jumping” or “while in the air”.
Platinum the TrinityCharacter’s Features
- Good speed, great air dash (she rides her staff like a broom).
- Her air dash covers a lot of range, giving her the possibility of comfortably attacking in the air without falling easily on the ground
- Since her attacks with her staff don’t have a long reach, her special projectile moves do the job of covering long range fighting instead.
- Her strategies change based on which weapon she currently has equipped.Drive
- Pressing the D button will randomly select one among 6 types of equipment/modes for her staff. After selecting the D button will trigger the equipped weapon.
- Platinum’s current and next staff mode, as well as the amount of charges she has left are listed at the bottom of the screen.
- At the beginning of the match, she isn’t equipped with any weapon so you have to press D to equip her once.
- Each equipped weapon has a limited number of charges. When they run out, Platinum has to press D again to re-equip herself with the next weapon. The types of magic equipment are:
Cat (5 uses)
Staff turns into a huge cat head. Slow but good range. Great as a poke and an overhead.
5D – Vertical strike. Range of Litchi’s 6B and takes about 10 frames to come out. Knocks opponent down.
jD – Same as above, but overhead.Hammer (3 uses)
A close range but powerful hammer. Good for ending combos.
5D – Knocks down. Does heavy damage, but can’t combo afterwards.
jD – Quick, straight falling hammer. Breaks 2 primer, good as an aerial ender.Bat (3 uses)
A bat with short range but invincible frames on start up. Great for reversals.
5D – Swings in front of her. Short reach and can’t follow up.
jD – Swings horizontally. Hard to hit with.Frying Pan (3 uses)
A short range frying pan that causes a lot of hit stun. Great for starting or extending combos.
5D – Swings the frying pan. Short reach, but will spin opponent on hit. Attacking afterward will keep them in standing state.
jD – Swings it below her. Overhead. Bounces, so it leads into combos.Bombs (6 uses)
A projectile attack. Bombs are thrown in an arc upward. Trajectory can be slightly controlled.
5D – Throws one bomb.
jD – Same.Missile (3 uses)
A fast projectile attack. Missiles travel straight forward. Also they have cat faces painted on them.
5D – Launches one missile.
jD – Same. Two of Platinum’s special moves are dependent on what she has equipped.
Mystic Momo (214D)
This move throws away your currently equipped item by literally throwing it at the enemy. Close range items are thrown at a 45 degree angle, and produce the same damage + effects on hit as if you were using them normally. When used with missiles, Platinum will fire all her remaining missiles at once. When used with bombs, Platinum will throw either three bombs, or all of her remaining bombs.Miracle Jeanne (236236D)
This distortion throws away your current weapon, and equips you with an upgraded version of the next weapon you would be equipped with. It wears off when you use up all of that weapon’s charges. Upgraded weapons are as follows.Cat -> Lion
Staff turns into a lion head with immense range. Damage increases from normal cat. This is the longest range overhead in the game.
5D – Vertical strike. Long range, but similar speed to the original cat. Knocks opponent down.
jD – Same as above, but overhead.Hammer -> 16t hammer
A larger hammer that does even more damage and has more range.
5D – Same as normal hammer, but shakes the ground on execution. If the opponent isn’t blocking low, they will trip, at any distance.
jD – Same, causes slide if hit.Bat -> Excalibur
Immense increase in range. No damage increase. Keeps invincible frames.
5D – Same as Bat’s 5D.
jD – Same as Bat’s jD.Frying Pan -> Paper fan
A large paper fan with more range than the frying pan. Causes more damage, longer hit-stun, and comes out quicker. Great for combos.
5D – Swings the fan like the frying pan. Has longer reach.
jD – Swings the fan below her. Overhead hit. Can be followed with 5A.Bombs -> Large bombs
Plainly put, the bombs become bigger so their hitbox increases, making them harder to avoid.
5D – Same trajectory, but the staff now has a hitbox on launch.
jD – Same.Missile -> Large missiles
Missiles become GIGANTIC missiles that do much more damage and fly much quicker across the screen.
5D – Launches one gigantic cat missile.
jD – Same.Normal Moves
5A a handclap. Short reach, looks cute.
5B side swipe with stick/staff. Long reach
5C strikes with staff upward.
2A attacks with staff’s handle. Short reach
2B scooping motion on the ground with staff
2C thrusts staff into ground and a heart shape comes up and attacks the opponent. Useful anti-air.
6A smacks diagonally upwards with staff’s handle. Good anti-air. Jump cancelable. Launcher.
6B thrusts her hips forward and attacks (like Princess Peach in smash brothers). Hits mid.
6C spins with staff on the spot. Causes fatal counter on counter hit. Jump cancelable.
3C trips the opponent with the staff. Hits opponents on the ground.
jA regular hand poke.
jB attacks with her wings diagonally below her.
jC shakes her staff in the air. Long range. Useful for air to air.
j2C stomps the ground with her feet. 3 hits, but not strong. Good in combos.
4/6 BC Throw. Summons a massive bell to send opponent flying. Causes wallbounce in the corner. Puts lots of space between you and the opponent mid screen.
jBC Air Throw. Uses the bell to bounce opponent directly beneath her. Can follow up on the way down.Special Moves
Air Persia (236A – also executable in air) – followups A/B/C (up to three times) – tramples down the opponent with a pogo stick; the followups change the landing place. C follow up ends with an aerial hit.
Dream Sally (214A/B/C) – Creates a bubble which slowly floats forward. The direction depends on the button pressed. When the bubble hits the enemy, it restrains him opening up combo opportunities. Deals no damage, good for wake-up.
Swallow Moon (j236C) – Creates a giant meat bun in mid air which Platinum floats on. Platinum keeps her momentum while on the bun. Useful to extend air time and open up combo opportunities.
Mami Circular (236B) – Dolphin-like attack, Plat jumps forward with her staff. It’s possible to follow sliding enemies with it. Removes a guard primer.
Mystique Momo (214D when you have items on you) – Covered in drive section.
Dramatic Sammy (41236D) – command grab. Searches for the opponent while ground-dashing. Grabs and imprisons the opponent inside a “heart” and blows it away.
Foreign Melody (22C on knocked down opponent) – Platinum slides into the opponent with her staff. Pushes opponent forward.
Distortions
Miracle Jeanne (236236D) – Covered in drive section.
Cure Dot Typhoon (632146C) – Platinum spins around in place with her staff repeatedly hitting the opponent. Does not move.
Astral Heat (236236C) – Long extremely girly and awesome animation. Hits close range.
Well, that’s all the information on Platinum we could find, so we will leave you with this. Did you know that all of Platinum’s special move names come from the names of popular magical girl and shoujo anime? Check it out.
Air Persia = Magical Fairy Persia
Dream Sally = Sally the Witch
Swallow Moon = Sailor Moon
Mami Circular = Magical Angel Creamy Mami
Mystique Momo = Minky Momo
Dramatic Sammy = Magical Girl Pretty Sammy
Foreign Melody = Onegai My Melody
Miracle Jeanne = Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne

well week four ladies and gents. no Valk sighting yet, hopefully another update with good news will come. Else wise I am thankful for Fable II, Fallout New Vegas, Sonic Adventure, ect to keep my mind off of it. However the anticipation for Luna keeps reminding me.
