Still no news on Valkenhayn, unfortunately, but we just asked Arc for an update, so hopefully we'll hear something soon.

Alright on the first one.

Secondly, it doesn't seem like an Aksys specific problem since the Japanese marketplace has no Valkenhayn either. Was kinda hoping to see him today, but both marketplaces get garbage DLC additions today. But any news on Valkenhayn's whereabouts would be appreciated.

I wonder if this will stem into something, like maybe they make it out so Valkenhayn has a bad sense of direction in future BB games like he got lost on his way from PS3 to 360. And I still want my playable Jubei.

Welp here's hoping for some good news anyways. I hate being a bother, but the longer it does take them, the more agitated some people get sadly. We and I appreciate you trying to help us out.

That's too bad. While I'm not too worried about it (I already got the DLC that I was interested in), it still makes me worried about what they are going to do about Platinum. Will Platinum be just as delayed? That would be bad. I have both a PS3 and an Xbox 360, but I'm not going to spend another $40 on the same version of a game just so I can try out Valkenhayn and Platinum. That's like the whole Namco fiasco with Tales of Vesperia in Japan (was supposed to be exclusive to Xbox 360, but then Namco dissed their fans who bought an Xbox and released an updated version on the PS3).

EDIT: Oh and playable Jubei would be cool. For some reason when I think about him, I think Yoda in Soul Calibur IV: all high attacks whiff him. :)

Ugh I know no one is exactly to blame here, but for the love of god. This is getting to be a bit ridiculous. I mean I still want to believe, but this is seriously just getting silly. I mean yes, I do want Valkenhayn, mostly to complete the roster for now, but I care more about Luna and I'm sure the longer it takes for Valkenhayn, the longer it will take for them to release her. Sorry I honestly don't mean to start whining now of all times, though I think by now I deserve to a little bit since for about over a month now I've tried to show good faith about it and believe it'd take less time. I mean ... I know one does not fix a programming error in a day and resubmit it in the blink of an eye, though this is just getting to be unbearable.

well in my own defense though, while I am showing signs of disappointment and mild disgust. I am not being fatalistic and to the point of saying it will never happen and we have to wait until next game. 'Sides I am more in tune and excited for Luna anyways.

I had a thought about the recent balance changes. What I saw of Plat was pretty lackluster, but add-in all these changes, and I get the feeling they were actually basing it around her, with her sitting square middle tier.

But yeah, Makoto is fun, and Valk and Plat look fun, so good job on making good characters ASW, just wish I could play them.

BTW, November 17th, ASW is going to announce that they could not get Valkenhayn to co-operate properly with Xbox Live servers and "regretably" inform 360 owners that we will not get him or Platinum. We'll get the balance patch, and their spots will be there, but, we can't use them.

Okay, my turn to issue warnings. Keep speculation within the realm of reality. Making things up (especially blatant nonsense) is just pointless trolling.

The reason for Valk's delay has been posted repeated by Belisarius. There is no conspiracy at work here, it's just how things worked (or didn't work) out.
