uh, so, after checking GameStop's homepage, it seems Blazing Souls Accelate release/pre-orders were pushed back to October 22:

So, I'd like to know, the release date was really changed, or was just gamestop that had this problem? ... maybe I should order from Amazon :x

I've been trying to preorder the game for a while from Gamestop, but they just couldn't do. They kept telling met that the game unable to be preordered for some reason. This happened to me once before when I tried to preorder Hexyz Force. For whatever reason, they just couldn't take preorders on the game. I have no idea what the hell Gamestop's problem is, but whenever it comes to niche games like this, they just seem to not want them anywhere near their shelves.
This is why I got the digital version. :I Came out on the PSN tonight($35). Also now I'm curious what Aksys could possibly be working on after this and 999. I don't think they have released any information about a game after these two.

Ok, I hate to be a bother but Akysel or Beli could either one of you be so kind as to post a PDF or something of the manual for Blazing Souls Accelate? I know this is pretty much the same thing as when Record of Agarest War hit PSN. :( Again, sorry to be a bother but I and probably a few others would appreciate it.

I ,too, am sad that more places aren't carrying Blazing Souls. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
As for upcoming projects, while my compatriots might play coy, I have no problems sharing our upcoming games. Right now I'm working on <dachshunds wearing fedoras!> while Belisarius is toiling away on <Mastiffs wearing earmuffs!>.

To answer the initial question, however, the fact of the matter is that GameStop didn't order all that many copies, so they've probably just run out. You can buy the game directly from us, but if you want to see it in a brick and mortar store your best bet is to go in and tell them to order more. I'm going to go ahead and mark this resolved, but feel free to open it again if you're not satisfied with my answer.

I preordered mine, and then about 3 other copies came in around the time I picked it up. They all sold out FAST, and then another shipment of about 5 I saw come in, just sitting there now...
It all depends on the location... If you can, just shop at another one. I've seen both the bad and good with Gamestops, and the one I go to holds games for quite a while if it's niche or a collectors set.
Oh, and yes I'm eagerly waiting for new game announcements too :p Even a tease or a hint at something would be nice :)
Yea GS does suck. I'm still upset about my BBCT artbook to this day... what the hell is a pre-order for or why allow pre-orders at all if they can't cover orders. And yea we can order it from here at Aksys, but does that mean we would still get the swag from the pre-order. (I wouldn't think so as sometimes some of them are exclusive to GS.)

Yeah, it seems to be quite a trend towards Aksys games. Deathsmiles was late 5 days after it's release date and gamebuzz was the only shop that had it.
