Aprose’s attendant and childhood friend who diligently accomplishes any task without error.
Being skilled at both literary and military arts, he drilled self-defense techniques into Aprose.
While normally quiet, he sometimes finds himself being protective of Aprose, and strongly scolding her.
He’s always cautious and studies his surroundings as he aids our protagonist with her revenge.

“When you say you’re okay, you’re actually not. As long as I remember that, there’s no issue.”

As our protagonist goes undercover, she parts ways from John, who’d always been by her side, keeping her safe.
During that time, when she visits the palace again as Lilly’s retainer, she runs into John, who is anxiously undercover as a waiter at the party venue. After a brief moment of peace, she encounters a suspicious man, which leads her to learn about the turmoil that the country finds itself in.
Then as a result of a dream she had, the trust she has in John gradually begins to change…
